This is the ball that good volleyball players prefer over the Wilson AVP. It sets, bumps, spikes, and serves better than almost all other balls.
After 6 months of play, it started losing air. Now, it's a $45 "marshmallow," flat and useless. This is a known problem among veteran players. I'd recommend getting an extended warranty or similar and save your receipt.

Bought "King of the Beach" because I was looking for a ball that could be used by the water with out getting heavy or damaged. I was tired of using my good leather balls (Wilson AVP and Mikasa blue/yellow/white Olympic) which would get very heavy as they got wet. Plus at $60 each I don't want to damage them by getting them wet repeatedly. We play on a small sand beach very near a lake and the ball gets wet every 5 minutes. This ball is great. Get it wet and just dry with a beach towel. Doesn't change weight or feel once towel dried. We play it soft for control. some balls 'slap' your arms when soft but not this one. Hope it lasts a long time to offset the $40 I paid at Dicks. Best synthetic ball I've used.
