Rated 1 out of 5 by Back split at the heel I've wore these boots for years with now problems. About two years ago bought a new pair and the back of the boot where the rubber meets the leather split at the seam after about a month. Returned them and it happened again but after a couple months. A year later needed new boots and figured maybe just a bad batch last year. Went through three pairs returning each after a couple weeks because they all split. September 11, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Keep your reciept, you will need it. I purchased these boots back in November 2014. I needed something for cold weather while I was working out of town. Wore them for a couple days of really light work. They came in very handy for that. Put them in my closet until the start of hunting season (September 2015) and chose to wear them over hiking boots due to rainy cold weather. The gave me less 10 miles worth of walking before the rubber of the heals on both boots split. Most Rocky boots have a 1 year warranty, however, Rocky told me that these boots are made for Dick's and to their specs. Therefore Rocky will not cover them. After that much time the receipt to Dick's is long gone. The moral of the story is use them hard right up front and keep your receipt so that you can take them back when they give out. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product My husband loves them! His feet stay warm and dry and they don't sweat! April 22, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by comfortable, but the heel will tear. Comfortable out of the box, but after about 3 months of use the heel tore on both boots. Do not recommend! April 19, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Does the job .... keeping feet warm! Compared to some other brands, these Rockies stand out! Do not mess with Winter "Pac" boots...... they are inferior. Get yourself a quality boot.. with micra thinsulate and Gortex to keep your feet warm and dry weather you are hunting, snowmobiling or working in cold outdoor weather! March 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great boot Actually I brought these for my wife. Men If your tired of hearing " I'm ok...just my feet are cold", then get them some 800gram boots. March 4, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by great investment Very durable boots. They are comfortable and waterproof, yet lightweight enough to easily move around. March 4, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Yup, poorly made, but great service by Dick's I bought a pair of these boots, and within 2 weeks the seam between the nylon and rubber in the back split on one of them. I should have realized looking at the construction at that time that this was a flawed design, but I loved the fit & comfort of the boot so I returned them. Dick's did not have another pair my size, so ordered a pair to be sent to my home. They credited my card for the original purchase, and charged again when the new ones shipped. All good except they charged $11 more than the first time. I emailed the company expressing my frustration, and the $11 was immediately credited back to me. I was very impressed with that. I have had the 2nd pair for about a month, and though the back is still holding up, I'm noticing the stitching on the tongue failing .... Bottom line is the boot is not high quality, but Dicks' service sure was! March 4, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by This is poorly made The first time we bought it lasted 2 months and then the seams ripped near the back of the shoe. We got a replacement which only lasted 2 days before the same seams ripped and had to return that also.It cost us 4 trips to Dicks in bad weather and will not buy Rocky boots in the future.
