Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 34 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by This product was badly scratched and in poor condition I can NOT believe that this product was shipped out to someone in the terrible condition that it is in. I paid $63 for a scratched, already been used helmet. And now I have to make a special trip to return this Easter present for my son. This is dicks sporting goods issue. Not an under armour issue. This helmet has already been used!!!! Very disappoint. This item was obviously NOT reviewed before shipment. April 14, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Buy a different one. The helmet fits true to size, but the paint scratches off very easily. Looks terrible after only wearing a couple of times. March 23, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Great product exactly what my son wanted! Very comfortable fits great March 17, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Illegal for use in NFHS and Little League as of 2015 Be forewarned if you are buying this for your son or daughter who play Little League within any organization that uses NFHS (Federation) rules then these chrome helmets are not allowed. LL mad the rule change for 2015. It has been that way for NFHS for several years. March 13, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very comfortable I purchased this for my 7 year old son and he really likes how comfortable it is. We have not used it outside yet so I am not sure how the sun will reflect of it and if it would cause a distraction to other players. February 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by my son love this helmet so is everyone on his team the only problem is after a while it started to peel was shock for a UA product and the price you pay, I was surprise so I call up Dicks and they transfer me to the manufacture, I sent them pics of the helmet and they were nice to send me a new one. Thank you Bebi Toronto, Canada January 9, 2015

Rated 1 out of 5 by Illegal for use in NFHS and can be tossed by umpires at any level Chrome batting (and catching) helmets are banned by NFHS (National Federation of High School Sports) and can be removed at any level (Little League, Babe Ruth, MVP, Travel, Showcase, etc.) if umpires, like myself, feel they present a potential distraction and possibly safety risk. I have tossed this thing several times this year after nearly being blinded by the sun's rays bouncing off this and into my eyes. It was nearly blinding and I had sunglasses on at the time. Although the helmet itself meets NOCSAE standards umpires in NFHS governed events are called to remove it. It should be pulled from the shelf. I have enclosed the 2014 baseball rules interpretation by NFHS that covers this. (BTW, Situation 21 deals with chrome catchers helmets.# Baseball Rules Interpretations - 2014 SITUATION 22: R1 leads off the inning wearing a highly polished reflective batting helmet. The opposing coach inquires as to the legality of R1 wearing such a helmet as it would be distracting to his pitcher and the infielders. R1 and his coach explain that, a) the helmet meets the current NOCSAE performance standard for batting helmets; b) there is no rule prohibiting such product for use; and c) the player has a right to own and use the helmet when there is no rule preventing such use. RULING: The umpire explains that the use of such helmet presents a risk minimization issue for the team playing defense. The bright reflection of the sun off the helmet poses a dangerous situation for the defense. In a) and b), the fact that the helmet meets the NOCSAE performance standard for batting helmets is admirable and is compliant to NOCSAE standards; unfortunately, it is judged by the umpire to be unreasonably dangerous and is illegal for use. There are several rules references prohibiting the use of such equipment. #1-5-9,10) Regarding c), the player does have the right to own and use the helmet, just not for high school baseball competition. COMMENT: If the offensive team would like to use the batting helmet, it could make it less reflective by adding dull/matte black tape over the helmet in order to meet the intent of the rule.
