Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Very tight heel. If you have flat or wide feet, try a CCM. Had these bad boys on for about 15minutes before the pain was intolerable. Also, if you're purchasing your first pair, MAKE SURE you get properly fitted first. Save yourself the hassle, because there will most definitely be hassle if you take the impatient route. Other than that, if I had normal people feet, I think I would have liked them a lot. September 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent skate I am a long time skater but new to hockey and love these skates. Tried my brother's (seasoned hockey player) X80s and were too stiff. Would have to play almost daily to break in. Had these baked and sharpened and by my second skate feel great. Played an hour of hockey and feet never hurt, very lightweight and love the look! Rated 5 out of 5 by Pro knows I am a professional hockey instructor, have been for years. These are very good skates. Bauer Vapor x 60 are not the higher end in the series, but are top notch. They have the feel and structure of high priced skates. Sharpen at a hockey shop, support your local shops. Other options are foot bed replacements, intermediate skaters will enjoy the stock options for these skates and blades as well. A player should utilize the quick change outs and keep blades to a radius they are familiar with.... These skates have a bit more forward rocker to them , so adjust your boot accordingly a good fit for the narrow foot, but the boot will bake to form as well. I choose the traditional way, just get out there and do it. The price is steal for this series and well worth it. January 6, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great skates for the money I'm newer to skateing and wanted a good state that did not break the bank. After trying on several cheaper skates I tried these. They are very confortable and I'm glad I baught them. The bower vapor line has several that are more expensive than these but they are the first in the line that is a high quality skate for the money. February 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Skate Best skate for the 200$ it offers the removable blade with the push button and definitely helped me mid-game playoffs didnt even have to leave the ice. Got on the bench and the equipment manager snapped it off and *poof* a new sharpened blade right their. Definitely buying this skate again when mine get too bad for use February 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent for skaters with narrow feet Vapor X60's have a great design for a narrow foot; snug yet not tight around the entire heel radius, supportive throughout the mid-foot and plenty of room in the toe box. My sneaker/shoe size is 10.5-11 fairly narrow with low arches; purchased the Vapor x60 in size 9.5. Good response in hard turns without roll-out, and edges bite well with excellent energy transfer during hard strides. Unbelievably light - I think I have trail running sneaks that weigh the same - yet solid enough to shield foot from a decent slapshot. First 90 minutes of skating with thin socks, felt a bit sore just at the ankle bones yet I could have skated another 90 mins; soft socks and more break-in and I'm confident I could skate for hours with no fatigue. An overall excellent skate. January 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bauer vapor x60 The 60s are much more comfortable than the 70s.they are very light compared to my old skates and perform exceptionally Well. I bought a spare set of blades, which are better than the stock ones.Because of the light weight i had to experiment with different radius' on the sharpening .it's best to take them to a pro shop or hockey giant for this. Baked them ,and 3 hours of skating broke them right in! Also purchased a set of yellow super feet problems at all! December 2, 2013
