Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 240 reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Easy to assemble but cheaply made Unboxing the bench revealed that very light weight materials were used for the seat and backrest of this unit. As soon as i picked up those pieces, i doubted the integrity of them. After doing several workouts, this is what i noticed. For light workouts with light weight, this bench will get the job done. Once i picked up heavier dumbbells and laid back on it i could hear the padded back piece cracking. My body weight plus the dumbbells totaled about 300 lbs which is far below the manufacturers 600 lb rating. I have also had a seam start to come apart after only one week. The curved metal piece used to adjust the angle of the back is somewhat thin and its centered under the back pad which makes it a bit wobbly when i use anything above 50 lb dumbbells. This may not pose a problem if you were using it under a smith machine since the bar would be guided. Once the bench is in its fully declined position it is fine because it is supported by the frame. The steel frame of the unit appears to be built strong enough to hold the 600 lbs it is rated at. I would recommend this product to someone who is only planning on using light weights, but i do not believe i would recommend it if you are using anything over 45 lb dumbbells during inclined movements or if you are a heavier person needing a lot of stability under you while working out with weights. Bottom line: Not very stable at higher inclines, somewhat stable in lower positions and reasonably stable when fully declined. September 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bench Excellent bench easy to use heavy duty already assembled September 14, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very good quality Easy and quick to assemble. I like the quality and easy adjustments. Very sturdy bench. Would recommend. September 6, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Sturdy bench but finishing touches are lacking The bench is rock solid and goes together easy. However, the welds are really pretty poor and one of them seems to be rusting right out of the box. I don't think it would take much to improve this product but seems as though quality control is lacking. The welds around my handle is already cracked. As such, I would recommend this but with some shortcomings. If are ok with mediocre welds, then it is really a solid bench for the money. August 29, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Solid bench at a good price Matches in quality everything the commercial models at the gym have. Assembles in minutes. My only issue is the same I have at the gym - I am 6'2, and the body portion could be longer to support my upper body in some free weight exercises. But that tends to be true with EVERY bench I have tried. August 16, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sturdy, easy to use Just what my husband was looking for. Big enough for his 215 built / comfortable to sit on. Yet small enough for storage between our two cars in the garage. August 16, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Easy to assemble Super sturdy bench and easy to assemble. The instructions call for a philips screwdriver, which is not needed at all in assembly. Other than that instructions easy to follow and use right away. Not the biggest fan of the screw pinto change the height of bench seat and back. It takes longer then gym ones, but still very stable. Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Bench But Could Be Better I bought this bench as a replacement for the Bowflex 5.1 which was clumsy and not well designed for incline dumbbell presses. This bench is easy to maneuver and the design is great for lifting. Two drawbacks that I have found: when the back rest is at an angle you must but the seat at an angle as well, otherwise seating is uneven. The other drawback is that although the pin that locks in the back rest is okay it does not seem to go in as deep as I'm comfortable with. I would have liked to see a more secure locking pin. Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent bench for the money. Very easy to put together. Bench is comfortable and has a variety of angles to select from. Solid construction. Only drawback is that it slides too easily on carpet floors. I may add some rubber to the base to leep it from moving. August 10, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fits what I need The bench is exactly what i needed. Good support and great versatile August 2, 2016
