Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 124 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Concise Easy to assemble. Has everything I was looking for. Safety arms for bench press are great feature. And it was just what I needed for bench, squat and overhead press with barbell. I like how it is functional for a good price without having to pay a lot of extra money just to have a chin-up bar. And it is not so tall it won't fit in my basement. September 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Promoting Fitness I purchased this product for my three teens, who have been lifting weights at school and a friend's house. I especially like the safety bar - it gives me peace of mind knowing that this provides an extra measure of safety beyond having them spot each other. I went online while in the store to see if I could find who had the best price on this, and it turns out that Dick's offered the best price! The same thing held true for a pair of Under Armoir Running Shoes I bought. September 9, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very Sturdy/Good Value I found the product to do everything I wanted, with the exception of being able to use a barbell in the highest two upright bench settings. Bench seat and back adjustments are quick & easy, upright width make it very sturdy. Make sure your Olympic barbell inside collar measurements are greater than the upright width measurements. I thought the bench would come more assembled than it did, but it was easy to assemble with a socket & box-end wrench sets. Took about 45 minutes to unpack & assemble. August 31, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Solid Bench I purchased this bench a few weeks ago and have been very satisfied with using it for a number of workouts since then. I thought assembly was very easy, and didn't take long doing it alone; ultimately would be helpful to have a second set of hands to stabilize uprights and things while bolting together. The documentation of the instructions could've been a little more detailed; there are bolts in two different lengths, be careful keeping them separate to make sure you get the right length for the correct brackets. Pros: - Sturdy, versatile bench for the price - comfortable seat/bench - easy assembly - quickly and securely change incline of bench back and seat Cons: - only comes with one set of J-hooks and one set of safety bars (which also has rubber pad to store a bar), will need more or will have to move hooks when switching between bench and squats or other standing exercises off the back of the bench = extra time setting up while working out - Since the bench is permanently attached to the cross-bracket for the uprights (overall a pro from a stability standpoint) makes it difficult to use the bar when doing incline bench press using the standard j-hooks. Finding the sweet spot on the uprights to put the longer bars so that I could comfortably sit down, get under the bar and have the bar at an appropriate angle to lift the weight safely took a couple of tries and may not be the most intuitive for someone just starting out lifting. Overall, a good option for a lower-priced home gym, would recommend. August 5, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Solid Very solid and sturdy bench. Easy to assemble. Highly recommended July 21, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic bench! I was pleasantly surprised to find a bench of this quality, doing what I needed it to do (squats and bench press). The materials are great quality, the bench is super-simple to put together and it's rock solid. July 14, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good value for the average joe/jane Forewarning: I bench over 225 and weight over 225. So I need to step up to real equipment. Pros: -Adjustable bench is nice to do incline/decline press. -3x3 inch post with 1 inch holes look awesome. -Easy to assemble. -Spotter arms are cool so you won't get injured. -Can do standing military press/squats, off the back side. -Bench height is 17" which is the correct benching height for proper leg drive. Cons: -The pad gap is huge, so finding a proper benching spot is difficult. -The arms sway back when re-racking the bar with heavier weights. -Can't do seated overhead press using the j-hooks/spotter arms. For the price range, it is better than most benches out there. July 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fitness Gear Pro Olympic Bench Great quality and easy to install, I have enjoyed working out with my son and we are getting in shape, it is nice to have my own equipment at home July 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great bench This bench rocks. Allows me to bench and squat. Didn't take long to put together and the incline, decline and flat feature is great. Very good for piecing a home gym. July 3, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by would be a 5 if it was delivered in better shape Real easy to put together (I did it without the suggested assistance) and looks sharp. Everything fit together nice and it's real good quality. Box was very beat up when it was delivered and the bench the expected scratches. We waited long enough for this one that we didn't want to send it back. Great unit, though. June 29, 2015
