good bench Pretty decent bench for the money. If you are looking for a sturdy bench for your home gym look no further. March 10, 2015
Good features but some concern I was a bit concerned once I began putting it together since the instructions left out a step and one of the triangular metal plates was not drilled properly, making it impossible to fit all of the screws through. Neverthelless it appears solid and well built to handle the 300 lb olympic set I bought to go with it. I use it for bench pressing and, after moving the safety arms and bar to the other side, for squatting, deadlifting and military press. Its weight rating is 600lbs (weights + lifter) but if you are strong enough to use very heavy weight, to be fully safe you should probably get a full or half rack, but I didn't have the money or the room in the basement and at this point I'm not that strong. Also its a bit inconvenient and time consuming to move the safety arms for squats etc. Overall I would recommend this product, but be aware that at some point you may need to upgrade to a full or half rack to be completely safe and to avoid the inconvenience of moving the bar and safety arms around during your workout. Best For the Money I did a lot of research before buying this bench and kept coming back to this one. When they run a special on this one that is the time to pick this up. The bench is very sturdy, I'm 220 lbs and like to lift heavy and I never had an issue. If you lift by yourself the pegs that hold the weight are clutch, although I admit they sometimes wiggle which makes them to appear loose but thats just the design. I strongly recommend this product to anyone because again if you can find it when its on special it crushes the competition. February 23, 2015
customer service also was horriblel Handles seem as they are on the verge of breaking after a few weeks February 17, 2015
Great bench! Love it! Took about an hour to set up, super easy as long as you have the right tools. I feel great when I bench on it, very sturdy and durable! February 17, 2015
Very good product for the money! I'm used to working out on homemade benches and I have not lifted weights in 12 years or so now. I decided to start again and I have been looking for some thing reasonable for me to tone with and this bench is great for the money. You can incline, decline, flat bench, squat and for something made over seas its good quality. February 7, 2015
Great bench I bought this for my son and he loves it. We put the bench together in about an hour with no problems. High quality. I expect this bench to last years. February 5, 2015
Good works great it was what I was Looking for and it feels built decent Maybe nicer paced bench would be cool February 4, 2015
Great weight bench to get started with I've been using this bench for a few weeks now. It's been more then adequate for most of my workouts. It took about an hour to assemble and get going with it. The instructions missed a slight step that I had to figure out and weren't mentioned when I went back and looked at it to double check. I've been doing bench presses, curls, squats, DB rows, etc. January 27, 2015
Good product. A few quibbles. I have been lifting at the gym for about 7 years. This is my first home weight bench. I like it. Putting it together was easy. But I have a few quibbles: 1. As someone mentioned in a review, the uprights are a bit too far back when you want to do incline bench presses. 2. The instructions are not accurate. The numbers for the hex head bolts on the written instructions and the diagrams do not correspond in a couple instances. But it's easy to figure out. 3. The instructions say you need only a 14-17mm box wrench. To assemble quickly you will need a 17mm ratchet socket wrench and a 17mm box wrench and a 14mm box wrench. Other than that I think it is a great, strong product and I'm happy to have it. January 25, 2015
