Rated 1 out of 5 by Waste of money! Doesn't pump beyond 80 psi! I've used this pump for my mountain bike and road bike, and it works okay for the mountain bike but DON'T BUY this pump if you need it for a road bike... My road tires are max 120 psi tires, and this pump maxes out at 80 psi and won't allow more air into the tires... either the pump isn't up for the job or the pressure gauge is severely off the mark. Not sure, but either way, don't buy this junk! September 21, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Does Not Work as Advertised Can't pump more than 65 psi in my bike tires. It's a struggle to get that much. August 10, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Utter Piece of Junk Broke the first time I used it. Had to postpone a planned bike trip while I found another air pump. Now I have to find a Dicks and return this junk. Will never buy another Nishiki product. June 29, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Hard to pump/inflate at high pressure I have 120 lb. Continental Gatorskins 700x23. Man, when you get to 110 lbs. on gauge, it is somewhat difficult to get to 115 lbs. then 120 lbs. Very good seal... plastic locking lever whacked my finger (once) when unlocking from valve... be careful. No way to judge accuracy, but I do know that I am hitting the max on my bike tire/tubes. So far, good. I'm sure I could have paid double or more the price for a "professional" bicycle pump, but I digress. Not to mention, pump will serve many other uses, e.g. wheel barrow tire, balls, MTB tires, car tires if I have to. June 28, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Peice of junk If you have a normal mountain bike, don't get this. It won't work with it. June 7, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by exactly what I was looking for Great race bike pump with extra fixtures. Easy to use. April 8, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Decent pump. Pump head not so great. The pump itself works fine on both presta and schrader valves. You just have to make sure you push it down all the way before engaging the lever. The gauge is somewhat accurate but it seems to need a quick burst of air to get the dial to move and give you a reading. I use this pump primarily for mountain bike tires (2.3 width) but also have a commuter bike with skinny tires that I use it width. Overall, and for the price, it's a decent floor pump. The worst part of this pump is the pump head chuck. The plastic lever is horrible and broke after a very short time of use. Please see below for a good/cheap replacement. REPLACEMENT PUMP HEAD: Someone asked about a replacement pump head. After mine broke, I purchased a "Blackburn Anyvalve (2016)" It is the red/black/silver version and much beefier than the one that comes with this pump. The great thing about this replacement is that it's a direct fit. You can even leave the threaded part on the hose and simply plop on the Blackburn head and thread it right on. Works like a charm. Rated 1 out of 5 by Does not work The pump head is defective. Cannot find a replacement. If anyone knows of one please post. March 3, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by did not work for me either. couldn't attach it to normal (schrader) valve stems. I will return it. February 16, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not bad at all I've only had this for a few weeks now, but I find it very worth the money. It's not hard to pump, I don't have to lean over too much to do so (and I'm about 5'8") and the pressure gauge seems accurate. Only thing to mention is the gauge doesn't measure when I'm pumping for some odd reason? I have to push it all the way on the valve to get a reading, and when locking it the pump always slides up a little bit. Just means I need to stop to check if I'm worried about the pressure. The grips on the handles are good, and not uncomfortable to hold. It's lightweight and easy to carry around - I walked the mile home from the store when I bought it and it didn't wear on me. The stand is big enough to keep it from tipping over, but small enough to be compact. I haven't tested the extra valves that came with it, but I'd imagine they work just as good. Only difficulty with it was getting the zip-tie off the container that holds the two extra valve heads - there was no spot to get under it with a knife or scissors to cut it, it had to be filed down to get through so the container could be opened. I think the only other improvement I could ask for is if the pressure gauge worked even without it being pushed all the way on the valve, but stopping a couple extra times to check my pressure before I put the pump away and ride off isn't more than a minute of inconvenience and it's not that big of a deal.
