Rated 1 out of 5 by Wish I'd read the reviews before buying this My pump worked the first time or two I used it. Yesterday I needed it and it was broken, much like everyone else's, and I can't find repair parts either. Wow. My old pump lasted 15 years. June 23, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Don't buy this The first time I used this it worked fine. The second time I connected it I discovered it had a leak in one of the hose connections while it fully deflated my tire. I tried to tighten the connection, but it didn't help. Went back and bought the Blackburn pump for $40, which has one fewer connection and seems to be a much better quality product. May 14, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Don't buy it! Bought this pump at Dick's about 18 months ago. After a few uses, the valve connector broke when applying it to bike tire valve. Took it back to Dick's, and they gave me replacement. Used replacement a few times and valve connector shattered again -- into about six pieces. This is a terrible product. I can't believe Dick's is still carrying Nishiki pumps. Dick's does not sell the replacement valve connector, so the pump is useless. April 5, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Valve stem broke I used my pump once and it worked fine. Used it a second time and it deflated my tire. Finally found the leak was in the pump. A cheap plastic valve stem broke in two. I am going to try to take it back to DIck's but I don't have the receipt... March 14, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not that good Bought this pump about two years ago and used it about three times before the valve stem latch broke. No I'm trying to get parts. Try and find Nishiki parts......................... DJ February 23, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by If I could give 0 stars I would. Stay away!!! Spend a little more on something functional. It is impossible to pump and a latch broke off after my second time using it. May 15, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Don't love it. I had another pump for 8 years, I just don't love this one, maybe it's too short. I actually plan on returning it. March 10, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not bad at all I've only had this for a few weeks now, but I find it very worth the money. It's not hard to pump, I don't have to lean over too much to do so (and I'm about 5'8") and the pressure gauge seems accurate. Only thing to mention is the gauge doesn't measure when I'm pumping for some odd reason? I have to push it all the way on the valve to get a reading, and when locking it the pump always slides up a little bit. Just means I need to stop to check if I'm worried about the pressure. The grips on the handles are good, and not uncomfortable to hold. It's lightweight and easy to carry around - I walked the mile home from the store when I bought it and it didn't wear on me. The stand is big enough to keep it from tipping over, but small enough to be compact. I haven't tested the extra valves that came with it, but I'd imagine they work just as good. Only difficulty with it was getting the zip-tie off the container that holds the two extra valve heads - there was no spot to get under it with a knife or scissors to cut it, it had to be filed down to get through so the container could be opened. I think the only other improvement I could ask for is if the pressure gauge worked even without it being pushed all the way on the valve, but stopping a couple extra times to check my pressure before I put the pump away and ride off isn't more than a minute of inconvenience and it's not that big of a deal. Rated 4 out of 5 by Very good pump only drawback is the valve head is somewhat large and cannot fit in tight places on some small wheels. June 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Not just for bicycles I have an old wheelbarrow that I use on occasion. The tire usually needs A bit of air after sitting. This is the perfect tool to keep in my garage. Very easy to use, good quality, small enough to store anywhere. Works great for kids bikes and balls also. June 2, 2015
