Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing Glove The best glove you can buy and if you want a glove that is a little big for infield, and you still want a little more reach then this is the perfect glove for that and wilson's have always been insanely comfortable on your hand and take the least amount of time to break in. Even though the price is higher then most gloves, this will last a long time and is a very good investment. January 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by As Good as It Gets In my opinion: I've had a lifelong love affair with the Wilson A2000 series, and I realize both that the Wilson A2000 1786 model is excellent and that some of Rawlings's Pro Preferred models are excellent alternatives, as well. (Similarly, I'm sure that there are others out there, as well, that I have not identified or tried.# That said, this Wilson A2K 1787 is the best glove I've ever purchased. #I'll always have a special relationship with my first A2000 my Mom gave me for Christmans when I was but a little leaguer.# The A2K 1787's combination of design, construction, and materials, including its leather-of performance and durability-of enabling you to shape the glove and create the pocket in the glove that you want - this combination strikes me as nearly unparalleled, based on my fairly significant experience. Though, personally, I prefer it for shortstop, it would make an excellent third base glove, as well. #I don't know enough about any other positions to fairly comment.) I've tried a lot of the "best" or most expensive ball gloves out there, including Wilson A2000's, Rawlings Pro Preferred's, Rawlings Heart of the Hide's, and based on my experience, I would have to differ with the opinion of anyone excluding this 2014 model Wilson A2K 1787 from his list of top 10 glove models now on the market. Besides, for whatever it's worth to you, this glove has got to be about as good looking as any glove on the market. If you're interested, I play ball regularly, and have played ball, since age 3 or 4, for decades now. I could understand your considering other gloves, but I'd certainly recommend your giving this 1787 serious consideration, as well. That's my opinion. Good luck. December 5, 2013
