Rated 4 out of 5 by Great for the backyard Easy to set up, relatively sturdy, provides for hours of entertainment July 30, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great net Just a follow up to most of the issues for all the problems I have been reading. Still only giving 4 instead of 5 but would have given 4.5. We all can agree that the price is great versus paying on average over $300 dollars for the same size for a bownet. Here are the fixes for the flaws that Primed has but are easy fixes. 1) Sagging nets I can guarantee most people have not been extending the bottom rear support bar all the way. You will know if its fully extend when the locking button pops up. If you don't see it, it's probably because the cover is covering it. Go to youtube or the bownet website and you can see how to set it up. It is the exact setup. 2) locking buttons, I'm sure most people have notice that it doesn't lock that solid. I mean most because I bought 4 of these nets and had to do the same fix. With a small metal filer make the holes a little bit bigger until the locking button fuly comes out and always locking in place 100%. Pull the bars quick to test it, if it slips out all the way you need to make the holes bigger. 3) Last defect are the bottom rubber support stands. Over time they will become loose and you may lose them. Remove the screws from the bottom install a small washer inside the rubber piece. Place the screw through but also add loctite to the screw because they do not add enough in the first place. This will resolve this future problem. To fix all these small issues will cost you at most $8 getting a small metal filer, small bottle of loctite and small washers. Over all you are still saving over $150 per goal. Don't forget to look at youtube or bownet website on how to set up the net. Set it up and take it down exactly. July 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Sturdy I bought the goal for the backyard and it's been a great purchase. It gets a lot of use and is very sturdy, both with play and withstanding the elements. I did not stake it down because I like to move it around to save the grass, but it has stayed in place through many wind and thunderstorms. Great buy! July 8, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice! Goal is great! Kids are having a blast shooting on each other. -1 star because instructions are awful. Several comments talk about the net sagging. what they probably did wrong, which i did too, is didn't PULL the large biggest supporting bar on bottom OUT. it goes out about 6 inches. this is what makes it appear like the box. Thanks to @jtm here of a previous poster mentioning this, as I was almost going to return it. June 22, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor foreign quality Very poor quality. 12yr old child was practicing shooting left foot for less than 5 min and she hit the left post and the plastic corner pc flexed and broke. Returned it... May 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pops up in minutes! This soccer goal is very easy to set up and it is very sturdy. May 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Goal! This net is perfect for my U11 teams. Easy to put up and easy ro take down. Most importantly, the net stays in place. May 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Backyard Goal! Sturdy and easy to put up. Perfect for the backyard! Also comes with carry case if you want to take it down, pack it up and take it to the park! Exactly what we were looking for! Great buy! April 22, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Goal Sags Goal was easy to setup and the kids had a great time. The goal does withstand hard shots with only a wiggle. Only problem is the top of the net in the front sags had to place an additional rope/string support on one side to pull taught. April 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by great, needs better directions this post hopefully will help once you take the 20 minutes to set up first time, immediately make yourself take it apart so you know that part too. 1. to fold side legs there are no buttons, literally just use force. it took me awhile as i felt i was going to bend something, but that's how it is supposed to work. 2. to bend the big parts, you will have to use even more force but once you do the it the first time, it is easy after that. 3. some folks talked about the net sagging. what they probably did wrong, which i did too, is didn't PULL the large biggest supporting bar on bottom OUT. it goes out about 6 inches. this is what make it appear like the box. other than that, those are the two things i initially stumbled on but we used it at girls practice today and all the kids were much more excited playing with a net vs. cones.
