Rated 5 out of 5 by Love how light it feels This is my first composite bat and I love how it feels when I swing. I am hitting way out there. This is my favorite bat so far. Great investment. Thanks dad! May 20, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Easton S1 Youth Bat 2014 This is a great bat! My 10 yr old son loves it. He has already started hitting the ball farther and harder than ever before. I will admit it took a little breaking in time, regardless of what the salesperson said, but after some batting practice and hitting off of a T, the bat is in rare form and the ball is flying. It has given him confidence and helped improve his abilities. I am not sure if the improvement is all bat and not partly my son's improved confidence, but whatever it takes to help make them better players is good with me. Make sure you prepare your son for some of the comments he will receive from some other boys out of jealousy. Some will wonder why their dads did not buy this bat for them. I have also heard nothing but positive responses from others who have the bat with yet others who have paid the extra money for the MAKO telling me to buy this bat and not the MAKO. LET'S PLAY BALL!! Rated 5 out of 5 by Knowledgeable Sales Staff Get experience at Dick's Sporting Goods when buying our grandson a bat. The saleperson was extremely knowledgeable about the product. He walked us through the pros and the cons and let us go into the back part of the store so my grandson could take some practice swings. Everyone was helpful and knowledgeable. That is why we always come to this store when purchasing our sporting goods. March 25, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Bat It added at least 15 feet to my son's hitting, it could be a combination of him practicing more but he is hitting a some hard line drives. March 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by great bat! My 12 yr old son loves this bat...expensive, but worth it. March 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worth the price I bought this bat a few days ago for my 10 year old son who plays competitive traveling baseball. Big price tag, but after using it just once I already feel good about the purchase. I had my son take about 200 cuts playing soft toss to break it in a little, turning the bat just a little each time. I gave him some batting practice after that and honestly, my son was laughing because he was hitting it so far. He is a contact hitter and doesn't usually hit it too far, but he was hitting deep flies to areas he has never reached before. His infield hits were coming off of the bat much hotter than usual. He was previously using an Easton Reflex aluminum alloy bat. The difference is night and day. The bat has a nice look and swings very light. I got the 30 inch, which has a -12 drop. I took some cuts with it myself. There was no vibration or sting. I'm excited to see him use it in game action once it is broken in. His confidence just went through the roof after one b.p. session. This bat really got him excited about baseball. It was worth every penny. August 22, 2014
