Rated 4 out of 5 by mallardmafia quick and easy The idea behind this is great and has some great pros but has some bad cons. The pro is that it is super easy to deploy and be mobile . This is impotent for walk in hunters that have to move or adjust with the birds , the blanket is waterproof which is nice too , it's easy to brush up also . But the few cons are , the bag itself has horrible straps which dig into your shoulders , it would have been better with padded straps , also when wet it is a little heavy which is not fun when hiking out for the day , also when goose calling your hands are not covered to well which late season birds pick up on that movement fast . But overall great bag for ducks December 21, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by mhurka1 Great for mobile hunter!! I am fairly new to waterfowl hunting, but have had a chance to test out a few different layout blinds before buying the Run-N-Gunner. I have to say I like this one the best. Light weight, low profile and doubles as a decoy bag! My buddies that I hunt with initially thought I was crazy for buying the Run-N-Gunner, but after a few hunts they love it. Shooting - Because of the blanket like design, drawing your shotgun up to shot is a different motion than with other blinds. I have my gun laying down my shooting side pointing towards my feet. Camo - Also, because the blind doesn't split open down the middle like most blinds, you can pile on whatever you are using for camo to blend in better. Just be aware that when getting in/out, you may need to pull the camo up the blind. Face Mesh - You can bend the face mesh along the edges to make it both comfortable and hide your shine. This allows you to see the birds better without having to constantly pop your head in and out. Backpack - I think the blind advertises that you can carry 2 doz. decoys. That may be true if you don't pack the top cover (blanket) also. I keep my cover grassed in with killerweed and I would say that and 1 dozen decoys will fit. That is all I need to carry when hunting with friends. The straps are very comfortable and the pack sits higher than most which is great on long walks. Overall I love the Run-N-Gunner and would definitely recommend it to a friend. December 9, 2015
