Product Information:

Get ready for your next training plan with the ASICS® GT-1000 2 running shoe. Using a combination of GEL in the rearfoot and DuoMax foam in the midfoot, the GT 1000 will cushion on impact and support your arches through to toe-off. Newly added SpEVA 55 midsole material creates a soft and stable platform while improving responsiveness for an efficient stride. A full blown rubber outsole promotes durability and adds extra pep to your step.
FEATURES:

  • Ideal for neutral to severe overpronators
  • Mesh panels and synthetic overlays allow breathability to keep your feet cool
  • Rearfoot and forefoot GEL® Cushioning Systems absorb shock and add comfort
  • Additional GEL added to rearfoot from previous model for additional protection

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 45 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by okay shoe $90 is way too expensive. At $40 to $50 I recommend the shoe. March 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfortable and great support Great shoe with support and very light weight shoe. March 18, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Display shoes They fit fine but I was rather disappointed that they would send me display shoes. I paid top money for NEW shoes and instead got sent DISPLAY shoes which were scratched up along the sides of both of the shoes. Getting black shoes with white scratch marks up and down the outside of both shoes did not reinforce the notion that I need to run back out and support Dick's Sporting Goods in the near future. Rated 4 out of 5 by A No Frills, Good Supporting, Lightweight, and Durable Crosstraining / Run Shoe My purpose for selecting this shoe was because I wanted an all-black, comfy, durable, supportive shoe that was suitable for referrring basketball games. I am a youth basketball referee and frequently ref 4 to 8 consecutive games on Saturdays, so I put a high work demand on these shoes. They have a sharp appearance: medium amount of shiny glitter under-stated glossy accents on the side panels, and a nice deep-grained silver "gel" logo on the heel side. The Acsis stripe/logo is all black and not really outstanding from the base cloth appearance--but the Acsiss strips are rendered in a shiny black accent. Otherwise they are not a flashy-designed shoe--moreso a 'workhorse' sort of style. The working parts of the shoe are effective also in that the shoe is a mesh durable fiber and the sole is contoured with high-surface area grippers, and the laces are thick and durable which won't cause shearing of them. I removed the factory insoles and put in "doc scholl'' gel inserts for added comfort because I am constantly pounding the floor, pivoting, sprinting and coming to quick stops and starts. My leg muscles needed to adjust to the angle and elevation of such shoes---as I was used to wearing Nike black hoops shoes instead of "running shoes" per se---so be sure to do appropriate calf, hamstring, and foot flexibility exercises prior to using these shoes. Rated 5 out of 5 by like these shoes I've been wearing ASICs for years and like these shoes even though I'm not running now. Good value for money. March 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product!! Excellent shoes, excellent service from the TWO girls (Amy March 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very comfortable I do a lot of standing and walking in my job. My feet don't get tired or ache after a day of wearing them. Great value too! March 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great all around shoe I have a previous foot injury and these shoes are the first I've found that are comfortable to run in. Would recommend. February 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable Running Shoe! Good Arch Support! This is a very comfortable running shoe that provides excellent arch support for a medium arch. It provides a great deal of shock absorption when running on various terrain while still feeling firm with each step. I'm not a fan of some of the newer running shoes that provide a lot of spring, which to me actually prohibits normal pronation during running. The shoe seems to be well made, like other Asics shoes, so I'm sure it will last for a long time. December 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Shoes The delivery time was so good, I expected to get them a lot later but they arrived so much sooner. December 6, 2013
