Best Insulation Placement in any class of boot. Choose 2 sizes larger than your normal shoe size.
The insulation in this boot goes all the way out to the tips of your toes, top & sides.
I looked at boots with 1600 to 2000grams of insulation that cost 3 times as much but insulation in all of them stopped at about mid foot.
Choose your size carefully. I read several reviews for the Bugaboot Online that commented about this line of boots being small due to the insulation so I made it a point to buy these at the sporting goods store.
I have been out several times, mostly standing around in 25° to 30° temperatures for 3 to 4 hours at a time and have not experienced cold feet. My feet in regular hiking boots with thick wool socks will normally get cold in 30 to 40 minutes at these temperatures.
These boots are very light so they will be replacing my snow boots so I can keep up with the kids when it?s time to go sledding.
Excellent pair of boots. Would definatly buy again!!!
By the way;I would recommend checking in stores before you buy online. The prices at the big three sporting goods stores were cheaper than online retailer.
