Rated 3 out of 5 by Harry3619 Mizuno has Gone Cheap. Quality & Comfort Sacrificed.
I have two boys in Little League and one in Club Ball. We have loved Mizuno Youth Soft /molded cleat shoes for thier comfort and quality. Mizuno's Franchise 7 Youth shoe is a big step in the wrong direction. It's cheap in quality, cheap in close appearance and has sacrificed comfort which used to be their hallmark. The outside of the shoe is somewhat easier to clean, but I'd put up with a little dirt and grime than give up the comfort. Just compare the Franchise 6 to the 7 close up and on your kid's feet, you'll see and feel the difference immediately. Mizuno shoes have always cost an extra $5-8 over the competition, but they were worth it. Not now. Mizuno youth baseball pants are still the top of the class in appearance, durability and quality. Let's hope Mizuno doesn't change their pants quality like they obviously have with their Franchise 7 youth cleats.
