Rated 5 out of 5 by easy purchase with quick shipping This item came in 2 days! my son is thrilled with his purchase. I was glad I was able to use my score card on this order and free shipping! A+ January 6, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by softball bat changed bat for another because it did not meet league rules. December 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by great bat I bought this for my 9 year old son playing club ball. Bat has neutral balance and a massive sweet spot. Balls jump pretty quick off the bat. Too soon to tell how it will hold up as we have only had it a month. Easton is very good with their warranty if anything happens in the first year. Highly recommend the bat, especially if you can find a 2014 model at a discount price. The only difference I see on the 15 model is color. December 4, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by If your kid can't hit and you don't want to teach them... then buy this bat. When they get to a wood bat league they will be benched for not being a good hitter. This bat masks poor execution. You see almost every review..."they don't even have to swing hard" or "this bat has so much pop" I call it the "cheater bat". September 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by 14u player the mako is an awesome bat it is very light and has huge sweet pop and is a fast bat through the zone i highly recommend this bat July 30, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Son loves the bat My son loves the bat he is 13 years old I personally think it might be a little heavy for him but he loves it and hits well with it July 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lots of "pop" Bought this for my 8 yr old son. He plays competitive travel baseball. Was very hesitant to pay the $350 price tag, but after comparing to other high end bats, this seemed to be the only one with a balanced feel rather than being end heavy like all the others. The sweet spot is HUGE!!! And the ball absolutely screams of the bat. This bat builds confidence and is definitely the best of the best. If you want them to have that competitive edge, there really is no substitute. July 2, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not Bad, Not Great Prefer the XL1 over the Mako, 10 year old lost distance with Mako, got it back by putting the Mako in the bag, nice bat but not for the power hitter, stick with the XL. 30/20 both bats June 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gave my son confidence Our son is 12 yrs. old and plays for a competitive majors tournament team. We first purchased the Demarini CF6 and did not get the pop that was expected. When my son tried a friends Mako, he felt the difference right away. This gave him the confidence he needed to hit the ball long and hard. He's not a home run hitter but he gets on base when he does connect. He would definitely recommend this bat. It was worth the additional purchase to see his confidence and excitement at the plate. Rated 5 out of 5 by The Best I have twin boys that are 11 and could not be more pleased with this purchase. If you hit it in the sweet spot you don't have to swing hard at all. It has pop! May 6, 2014
