Rated 5 out of 5 by 2Wheel Buy once - Cry once I hesitated at buying this glove for a while, as I'm just playing catch with my son who plays the sport. Alas, I like nice stuff. This glove is most definitely nice!! I wouldn't buy it for a kid playing(pre-high school) as it is a stiff glove to break in. This glove will last a long many years though for high-school and some post high-school play. But once broken in, it is a thing of beauty! The pocket seems to just suck balls thrown at it. The leather feels like it's a bit thicker, so when my son throws a heater, and it's towards the palm from the pocket - it doesn't sting quite as bad. There is a suppleness to the leather of the Nokona gloves that other high-end gloves don't have, I don't know if it's the oil or conditioner they use. I know this sounds silly, but if you're even half serious about this sport, the "snap" sound the glove has when catching a solidly thrown ball is pretty good too. So, is this glove overkill for playing catch - yeah, probably. But, at $200 - I think you're hard pressed to find a better glove at even the $350 price point. Just my humble opinion! May 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by davem102365 comfortable I bought this glove for my son on his 13th birthday. We had it steamed in store, and it greatly reduced the break in time. The Glove was game ready after just a couple days of playing catch. After looking at several gloves and trying them on, the Nokona was without a doubt the most comfortable. It was not easy for me after growing up playing baseball and now a days softball, and always owning Wilson or Rawlings. I was happy to see that it was made in Texas. The quality is comparable to any other pro gloves and you cant beat the price. After using the glove for a month my son has not dropped a ball and says he loves the glove. April 29, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Serfman Love the high quality! Needed a glove for softball, and didn't want to go with the standard lower end brand, So I tried all the high end gloves and found this one to fit my had like a glove! "Literally" I like the fit, feel and function. April 1, 2014
