Rated 4 out of 5 by husterk Excellent rack for the money!
This is a solid full rack that doesn't wobble or move when working with heavy weights or doing pull ups. The addition of the weight storage racks is an added bonus at this price range. The rack is made from decent metal (probably 14-16 gauge) but this is not a heavy duty 11-gauge rack like a Rogue rack.
A couple of things keep this from being a 5 star item... First, the center mounted pull up bar is too close to the front fat pull bar which can lead to banging your head if you aren't careful. Also, the rear cross member (on the floor) makes it difficult, but not impossible, to place the associated Fitness Gear Pro Bench back far enough to execute incline / military press. One of the uprights on mine has a scratch on it due to lack of packaging material between the uprights. However, it was easily filled in with some white paint.
A couple of things to be aware of... Fitness Gear is Dick's house brand and Dick's does not sell parts for this item (i.e. you can't purchase extra j-hooks or other accessories). However, I believe this is a standard 3x3 rack so other brand's 3x3 accessories should fit it. Also, you will receive a note in the packaging that states to call a toll-free number for missing / defective parts. However, the support person will tell you to take the part to a local Dick's store. They will then swap the defective part / give you the missing part at the store (be sure to bring your manual with you since it has the product serial number in it and call ahead to make sure that they have the part available).

Assembly was easy with just one person (the manual recommends two). It's important not to tighten the nuts right away and then not to OVER tighten them at the end or the metal will kink. I set the full rack on some general purpose gym mats and it is very stable and solid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by T Very Satisified - Sturdy Rack
I recently purchased an Xmark power cage on amazon, but had to return it because it was not sturdy and did not live up to the weight specifications.
I replaced it with th is rack, which is very sturdy and doesn't even wobble a bit while doing pull ups or re-racking a few hundred pound barbell after a squat. The dual weight holding rack is convienient, but if anything is on the top shelves it does get in the way when benching.
It does take two people to assemble, but that is because it has the proper amount of support on the posts to allow it to be very sturdy. I paid 499.99 and used a $20 off coupon. I could have gotten last years model for $350, but it didn't have the weight storage and the back bottom bar did not allow squatting and limited the bench placement. That is not an issue with this rack. I do not know if there are any 'aftermarket' attachments that will fit this but I will be looking around.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jason75 Fitness Gear Power Rack
Fitness Gear was able to fix the rigidity issues on earlier models. However, they moved the pull-up bar to the center of the power rack and added a reinforcing bar in the front of the power rack. This reinforcing bar is too close to the pull-up bar, causing one's head to bump the reinforcing bar. I actually removed the reinforcing bar completely and noted no change in rigidity. If Fitness Gear wanted to enhance this product even further, they could move the pull-up bar back to the front of the rack and move the reinforcing bar to the center where it is out of the way. Additionally, the addition of the weight racks on either side of the tower are a nice touch. If you are using 45-lb plates on the bar, they will bump the tray located at the top of the weight rack. The only way to prevent this is to move further down the bench away from the weight rack. This makes it more challenging to get the weight on and off the rack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TK Highly recommend!
You absolutely cannot beat the price for such a high quality rack. Quick and easy to assemble and extremely sturdy. Works great for just about any barbell workouts, and can be used without a spotter if needed with the help of the safety bars. I am extremely satisfied and highly recommend this.
