Product Information:

Get ready for your next training plan with the ASICS® GT-1000 2 running shoe. Using a combination of GEL in the rearfoot and DuoMax foam in the midfoot, the GT 1000 will cushion on impact and support your arches through to toe-off. Newly added SpEVA 55 midsole material creates a soft and stable platform while improving responsiveness for an efficient stride. A full blown rubber outsole promotes durability and adds extra pep to your step.

  • Ideal for neutral to severe overpronators
  • Mesh panels and synthetic overlays allow breathability to keep your feet cool
  • Rearfoot and forefoot GEL® Cushioning Systems absorb shock and add comfort
  • Additional GEL added to rearfoot from previous model for additional protection
  • DuoMax® Support System is positioned to support your feet throughout the gait cycle
  • Trusstic System® decreases the weight of the sole unit for a lighter feel
  • SpEVA® midsole material has increased energy return compared to compression molded EVA
  • SpEVA 55 uses 55 degrees SpEVA® material for a softer, more stable platform
  • Guidance Line® vertical flex groove improves gait cycle efficiency
  • Blown rubber outsole provides cushion, durability and traction

Rated 5 out of 5 by My wife loves these GT-1000s My wife at first was hesitant due to the price until she tried them on. Now she wears them whenever she can. She loves them. We both have GT-1000s... I got mine 1st. October 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Strong, light and stable shoes Strong and stable shoes but light and comfortable. Would highly recommend these. Love the all black color too. Good finish - doesn't look cheap or like its ready to fall apart. September 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great sneakers I have really flat feet and extended running usually makes them really hurt but with these I have no problems at all. Great cushioning and so comfortable. Im at 10 and a half but the 11 fit so I'm going to say they run a little small. September 7, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Very supportive These are very supportive and have significantly helped my knee and hip pain after running and walking. I average 12 miles a week. I am sticking with asics now after not finding this comfort and support in nikes. I have a high arch and these also helped with the aching I get there. August 24, 2014
