Product Information:

The longest driver ever from TaylorMade, the SLDR gives golfers the ultimate experience in customization. The SLDR sliding weight moves forward and back, for up to thirty yards of shot shape adjustment. Players can find the ideal lie and adjust center of gravity (CG) lower and more forward to generate high launch and incredible distance. The loft angle also adjusts up to 1.5°, making the TaylorMade Men's SLDR Driver ideal for all golfers.
FEATURES:

  • SLDR is the longest driver from TaylorMade
  • SLDR provides golfers with two elements of adjustability to get the best performance off the tee - slider weight plate and adjustable loft-sleeve on hosel
  • 21 SLDR weight positions allow players to manipulate both the center of gravity and the lie angle of the driver
  • 20-gram SLDR weight can be moved closer to the front of the driver head, adjusting the center of gravity (CG) lower and more forward
  • Adjusting the CG customizes shot shape/type up to 30 yards to match any golfer's swing stroke
  • Low and forward center of gravity generates high launch, fast ball speeds and lower spin for improved overall distance, making the SLDR the lowest spinning driver from TaylorMade
  • Increase or reduce loft angle up to 1.5° with 12-position loft-sleeve on hosel for optimum trajectory
  • Silver button-back combined with subtle crown improves alignment and increases confidence at address
  • Charcoal gray crown blends both modern and classic design for a unique look out on the course

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 117 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Buy!!! I have had my eye on this driver since it came out. But the $400 price tag strayed me from purchasing it. At $200, this is a steal. Driver is great for golfers of all kind. It can be adjusted to fit any swing style and is very forgiving. Prior to this purchase, I used a Taylor Made r7. I had it for about 7 years and I foresee myself having the slider for at least that long as well April 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by great driver excellent driver. great distance and great control. April 20, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Service I have not been able to use my driver yet as our course remains closed due to the long, cold winter. The service from Dick's was excellent. I ordered the driver around 8 PM on a Monday and received delivery around 5 PM on Wednesday. Club was correct and Dick's exceeded my expectations. April 20, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Too soon to give it 5 stars. I've only had it for a few weeks but it seems fine. I haven't been able to play a round of golf with it yet but liked it at the driving range. I need to replace the grip to the larger round grips because that is what I am used to. I think the SLDR is a gimmick. I couldn't tell any difference in my shots at the driving range no matter where I put it. April 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Online Purchase Of TaylorMade SLDR Driver... Driver was received without head cover and sliding weight tool. Had to go to store to ask for items. Unnecessary trip... April 18, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by good features don't hit it as far as my Stage 2 Rocketbalz but straighter. working on draw April 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by This driver has the type of adjustments I needed I purchased this product in the Palmer Pa. store. They were out of stock, so it was shipped from the warehouse. The sales rep was a big help, allowing me to hit several shots to determine the best adjustments needed for my swing. April 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Adjustability Easy to adjust on-the-fly during practice rounds! This club has only one weight versus 2 (2015 model) but for $189 it is worth the money. Easy to draw or fade a shot. April 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is a great Product This is a great driver. I'm longer and straighter than ever. April 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Deceptively Long I love this Driver! (and so do my friends who have swung it) I had older TM Burner and can immediately tell the TM SLDR is an overall much better club in all categories. The only thing I had to get used to is the sound it makes. It's not a loud strike noise but rather a subtle hit noise (hard to describe, the onomatopoeia would be something like a quick "tung"). When you first start hitting it (and you're used to a louder driver) you may feel like you didn't hit it well, but the results are fantastic. Straight and Far! I've been really impressed with my miss hits, they go straight with more than decent distance. I've tinkered with the adjustment and they make a real difference. When you adjust to the extreme heel/toe, you can really feel it, and it does produce a draw/fade. BUT I got to a setting I love and I normally just don't mess with it (unless the hole absolutely calls for it) April 15, 2015
