So comfortable! Nice and warm boots, good for those cold snowing days. I just wish they had a zipper, it would make it easier to get on and off. Dealing with all those laces is a pain. Other than that, great boots!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Reformed Shopaholic The best so far. Love them!
Lightweight, warm, waterproof, comfy and pretty. I was happy to finally find a boot that works for me. They are true to size, I wear a 7 or 7 1/2 and got the 7 1/2. I can still wear them with a layer of tights and wool socks. You have to loosen the laces quite a bit to get your foot in, but it's not so bad. They felt sturdy and surefooted on the snow with a thin layer of ice. Have not tried on true icy conditions. Kept my feet warm on a short walk in the snow. They feel as light as a sneaker and were comfortable immediately--no breaking them in. When I do travel to cold weather locations they will be easy to carry. Much more than I wanted to spend on boots since I live in the south, but they have a classic look and hopefully will hold up for many years.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Jean52 The North Face Women's Nuptse Purna Shiny Winter Boot
It is a well fitting boot and definitely is a plus that it is waterproof, but it is not a warm boot. Your feet get chilled unless you wear a very heavy sock. I bought the boot hoping that it would keep my feet warm in these negative temperatures that we had been having. I would have returned this item except I know that you can't if you have worn them outside.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mymy These boots are really cute!
I love the style of the boots. These are definitely boots for water not warmth, I wore two pairs of socks and my feet were still a little cold even though it was -30 degrees. My uggs are definitely warmer then these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Magrichd Very comfortable; not very warm.
Very comfortable pair of boots. I walked my dog for 3 miles and it felt like sleepers. Very stable on snow and slush. Not sure about ice yet. After reading reviews, I've got 1/2 size bigger and can wear 2 socks. My feet are usually very cold and this boots are okay under 30-26F but not for teens. We've had really cold weather lately in Boston and under 9F (feeling like -4F) my feet were freezing. But boots are fine for the regular winter temperature. This is my first pair of real snow boots and I'm happy with my purchase. Happy with Dick's store as well. Good price and fast delivery!

Love this boot, it's very warm and has deeper treads for getting around in snow and ice.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LoriB fit like a shoe
I purchased The North Face boot after returning a pair of Sorel's. I am a fan of Sorel for warmth, but they are a tad clunky and although somewhat stylish, are definitely more for function. However, they hurt my feet so I was back to the drawing board. Why is it so hard to find a boot that is comfortable, warm, not clunky, and stylish? Well, The North Face boot that came in today fits like a shoe. I have a wool sock on and they are very comfortable. I don't want to wear them outside in the Wisconsin snowy weather until I know I'm keeping them, so have them on inside and my feet are not hot...so even that part feels like a shoe. It could be that I'm comparing them to the clunkier Sorel, but I'm just afraid I won't be warm playing outside with the kids at recess. So, for comfort, not clunky, and style, they are winners; however, I'm questioning the warmth. Just ordered a pair of Columbia for comparison.
Oh one more note, as two other reviewers said, my boots came with the SECURITY TAG on too! Dick's employees...read the reviews and pass this onto your shipping personnel. I do NOT have a Dick's near me which is why I ordered them online. Although, I will say, when I called to alert them, they were very friendly and offered to send another pair out overnight. I will definitely do this once I decide if I'm keeping them.
