The rebounder takes time to get used to. It forces your throws to be accurate, as it's only 5.5 feet tall, and about the same length wide. I have only used the entire net portion of the rebounder. The other side has a bag which would encourage you to throw into it.
There is a sweet spot about 2/3 of the way towards the bottom, in the middle of the net, that if you throw it there, the ball will come back to you on the fly. If you throw it too high, it will come back as a grounder without much pop. If you throw the ball to the right or left of center, the ball will sharply veer to the right or left accordingly.
There are stakes to anchor the rebounder. We leave it in the backyard for the summer, and cover it up with an 8 x 10 tarp when it rains, although there is nothing on the unit which would rust.
All in all, if you're looking to perfect your throwing form and accuracy, I would recommend it.

My son uses this as a rebounder for lacrosse training. Works fine, don't buy an expensive lacrosse rebounder, this will do just fine. Son is only 9 so he isn't throwing with much force yet so this may not hold up to the force a teenager can generate but that wont be for a few years for me.
