Rated 5 out of 5 by Great addition to the garage gym Just added this to my home gym and I am very pleased with it. Have read complaints about its durability but it holds up well for my purposes. If you are a power lifter perhaps something more is necessary. My lifts are within the 200 to 315 range and this half rack is perfect. June 29, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Happy with Half Rack Love this product. Only one I could find with the neutral grip for pull/chin ups. Assembled by myself in about 1 hour and I am the most un-handy man in the universe. Great price, no issues with tightening while assembling. Looks great, sorry to see 2 or 3 complaints. I wish I had this years ago. Purchased in store at Dick's. June 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Commercial quality The set is very rugged and designed well. Worth the money! June 17, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic I looked at a couple different racks and even purchased another one along with this one to see which one I liked better. After putting together both and using them for benching and squatting this one was so much sturdier. It didn't move like the other one did when racking the weight back on to it. I don't have it bolted to the floor. The price was great also for the quality. I got mine on sale for $300. and picked it up at the store. It was super easy to put together also. I am handy in the tool department so it only took me about 20 min to put it up and start lifting. June 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great investment This rack is rock solid all around. I have had over 600 lbs. in both the j hooks and pins and it was no different than when I had my warm up weights loaded. Same for the pull up station. I am north of 250 and have never had any shaking from the rack when doing weighted pull ups (which made the total weight exceed 300 lbs.) or some kipping on the last reps of body weight pull-ups. Adjusting the j hooks and pins are very easy, especially considering how durable they are. The only easier way to unrack the bar for squats would be to purchase a mono lift. I have put over 700 lbs. on the plate storage posts allowing me to retire my a frame plate tree. This, combined with the economic footprint of the unit, has really improved the layout and efficiency of my garage gym. The icing on the cake is that it is quite aesthetically pleasing. My wife has even said it is very sharp looking! As for value, it is like getting a Cadillac for the price of a Chevy. The wrap up: you can't go wrong with this unit. June 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Assembly I bought this system for my stepson. This review is to tell you how easy it was to put together. I did it alone without any issues. Easy to follow directions. June 15, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by I like it It's well made and can support me a 6'2" 300 lbs male. The pull up bar has a million uses but I haven't been able to afford the weigjt set yet or a bench. June 6, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Buy Had this rack for a year and a half now, and i love it.It's still perfect no rust, not wobbly at all holds all the weight i use with ease.If memory serves right it only took me 45 mins to assemble.I'd def reccomend this to anyone, June 4, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome rack Does what is supposed to do. Solid. Looks great. June 3, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Welds started breaking, rusting from the inside Have not even owned this rack for a year and a half. I keep it inside my house, the welds are breaking and it's rusting from the inside out. The rubber on the J hooks all came off within a few months of use. Thin metal that dents very easily. Spending a couple hundred bucks more next time and buying a real rack. June 3, 2016
