Rated 4 out of 5áby mayville32 Good product, bad delivery The product itself is high quality and is definitely recommended;however, when the employees were packing the rack into my suv he broke the back part of my deat and tore the leather on the arm rests it was on. March 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby TTVIEW PLZ read my review but 5 Stars based on value for money First off I recommend this product but plz read my review explaining some caveats. I had this thing sitting in a box for a year before setting it up. I centered it on an 8' x 12' rug and just based on how well it fit I would STRONGLY recommend that if you don't have at least 8ft (front-back) x 12ft (left-right) of clear space don't even think about getting this rack. Remember you're using olympic weights with this thing and you will need to walk around the equipment to mount and dismount plates from the barbell while in use. The assembly is a process but it's a straightforward one. I used a cordless impact driver with adjustable(and adjusted) torque and some ratchet wrenches which made the job far easier as I had no choice but to assemble it alone. Only the bolt holes in the grey top crossbar didn't line up perfectly and needed a little persuasion with a heavy rubber mallet. The temptation is there to overtighten the nuts but you will put deep crimps into the metal if you do. All of the nuts are high end self locking nuts and are also treated with threadlock so just snug it up and give it a couple turns after to secure each nut firmly in place with no worry of them ever backing out. This is just not one of those times where you can tighten till you can't turn anymore. Despite the constant feeling that the metal should have been of a thicker grade, after everything was put together it felt ROCK SOLID. If yours doesn't, give each nut another turn or so till it does. REQUIRED EXTRAS: 1) as a pro tip search online for (DMI Foam Hand Grip Replacement for Standard Handle Canes, Black from MABIS DMI healthcare. by soymedical) and order 2 of those. Measure each one about 1 inch from the inside of the shorter of the two types of pullup handles(just make sure you measure to cut before the triangular brace really) and cut them. You'll end up with 4 pieces that can you can force over the 4 pullup handles that will give your half rack a professional look and amazing hand grip comfort. Just be sure to sprinkle some water over the handles and probably lightly spritz the inside of the hand grips with plain water before forcing them over the metal. Also you REALLY want to start insertion with the ends you cut going on first so when you're done the factory beveled edge will line up perfectly with the black plastic end caps. Makes it look twice as expensive as before trust me; and as for the grip feel... just heaven. See (admittedly low quality) uploaded images. 2) Pull up bands (I recommend getting only the red and the black first and if you're too weak still you can use them together instead of having to buy a thicker one or all the available types at once) 3) Fitness Gear 300lb olympic weight set. It's amazing value and now it's on sale so please feel free to go nuts. Best value EVER on olympic weight sets. Just don't expect each plate to weigh in exactly the same right down to the last oz or you'll be disappointed. Some of them weigh as they should and some plates are off by a smidge. Nothing to care about at that price. 4) Utility Bench. I got the cheap marcy one but it's too small for taller folks so if you're 5'10 or taller i'd recommend finding a longer bench as it's a pain to position yourself on the basic marcy bench while doing bench presses. Plus a more expensive bench would probably be adjustable for incline presses and upright shoulder presses the latter of which would be MUCH safer using a bench that has some back support. UNNECESSARY EXTRAS: 1) lifting straps and gloves (actually with the fitness gear bar the gloves are almost a necessity as the bar's grips are pretty coarse and may shred your hands after a short while of constant use especially if used with the next item on this list) 2) Fitness gear olympic curl bar. Meh!... if it makes you happy get one. I did and so far i've never used it. The only reason I recommend it at all is because the locking collars it comes with compliments the olympic weight set's 7' barbell PERFECTLY and I don't think I could live without them. 3) yoga ball and exercise mat (yoga balls are great for injury free back support if your core is new to abdominal and back exercise and the exercise mat is good for post workout stretching etc) 4) low budget elliptical type (arm/leg) bike. I only recommend warming up with them cause i'm sure your gut is already telling you there's little fitness to be had using them by themselves. TRUST YOUR GUT.... but in any case they're excellent warmup tools) 5) While unnecessary in general... for me I still ordered 4 extra 10lb and 2 extra 5lb rubber grip plates of the same shape as the fitness gear ones since those are the plates sizes I use most and the clanging sound of the metal ones really irritate the #@*!% out of me. I can alternate the rubber ones between the metal ones for a quieter workout. NOT RECOMMENDED EXTRAS. 1) Just one thing in this category and but it's a controversial one.... DUMBBELLS! lol I can just imagine everyone reading this saying I must be nuts but trust me they are completely pointless with this gym setup as i've discovered and they only really serve as a testament to the fortitude of your bank account since the olympic plates themselves can be gripped easily and comfortably just like dumbbells which means effectively (functionally) you already have pairs of 2.5lb, 5lb, 10lb, 25lb and 35lb maybe even 45lb dumbbells. I don't know if the 45lb are as comfortable in hand for use as dumbbells yet as i'm not strong enough yet to need them. My gut tells me that when that time comes they'll do just fine though. At least if you're on a tight budget it's nice to know that the design of the fitness gear olympic plates can double as dumbbells. Good luck to everyone and I hope you achieve your fitness goals now that you actually have the cheapest best possible most effective resistance training home gym equipment. Hopefully they'll make dips attachment arms for them sometime soon. March 14, 2016

Rated 4 out of 5áby Junie Excellent for a home gym While this product is not constructed of very heavy gauge material it certainly seems adequate for my purposes and is very stable while handling weights and doing pull ups. I am very happy with the product March 8, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5áby korwinula37 Great product at a great price I purchased this product for the pullup bar and the adjustable bar so I can do the exercises in Athlean X AX-1. It's probably overkill, but it does the job. If I ever grow into wanting to do lifts or squats, it will work for that, too. I purchased this product from the store because I read reviews that shipping it resulted in damaged goods on arrival. It was a challenge to fit it in my car, but the sales people were great and very helpful. When assembled, it met all my expectations, and looks very nice. February 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby Steve9801 Great Buy Bought this on sale for $299.98, easy to assemble and when its done it is solid. I am able to rack 340 lbs. on the bench and it does not sway or rock at all. Pull up bar is solid also, unless you have a habit of kipping up then you may rock it. But it does have hole to secure to the floor if you want to anchor it down. The only negative would be the safety arms if you use them. They seem a little flimsy to me. They do not sit snug against the frame which concerns me if your relying on them in the event you fail on a heavy rep. I just take them off so I can dump the weight if needed. Overall this is a great rack for under #300.00 February 22, 2016
