Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 33 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Solid product - one or two drawbacks I've tried a couple of these fitness towers and this is the best I found for the price. I use it for pull ups and dips. I do 50-75 pull ups per workout in a controlled, steady fashion. If you do kipping, the tower will not feel very stable. You would need to go up to a full rack to be more stable I would think. I previously tried and returned a ProGear 275 from Walmart.com. I also have a doorway bar ($30-$39 - Perfect Gym) that allows all three pull up positions, but I don't like working out in the doorway. Easy to assemble - about 1 hour. Very sturdy, does not wobble unless you are kipping. Pull up handles are adequate, not cushioned but not too hard on the hands either. Main drawbacks: 1. No closed-grip pull up option -- only open and neutral grip. This is a problem with a lot of towers in the below $200 category. 2. The dip bars are a little farther apart than I would like. Otherwise, solid product. I'm 5'9 and the height of the pull up bars is just right. For a 6' person and beyond, I expect you would start to touch the floor on the way down. November 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Rack I read the only other review on this product and I was worried about purchasing it. However, I went to Dick's where they had it set up, tried it out and found it to be satisfactory for me. After getting it home, I set it up in about an hour with the help of my wife. The instructions were easy to read and all of the parts were present and easily identifiable. (you do need to have some metric wrenches) I am able to do all of the exercises without the rack moving around. When I do pull-ups, neither the back cushion nor the arm pads are in my way and when I do dips, my head doesn't come near the pull up bar. There are probably far better towers out there, but for the price, this was a fabulous deal. I would definitely recommend this product! Not that it matters but I am 5' 8" and 165 lbs. Rated 5 out of 5 by Love It! I have been using this tower now for almost a month and I love it. It was extremely easy to put together and is very sturdy. I currently have it on a tile floor but I plan on putting it on a gym mat soon. It does not wobble and holds my weight with no problems. (I am approximately 165 lbs) October 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Almost perfect Love this piece of equipment! Only issue I have with it is the width between the arm pads. I feel they could be a inch or two closer together. I'm 5'10" and I have to put my arms on the very inner edge when doing leg lifts and it's not the most comfortable on the edge. If my 5' wife were to try they would be way too far apart. Over all it's great though. Sturdy and not as big as you'd think it would be. July 30, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Awesome machine Itis good for people 6 foot or taller people like my wife that is 5"2 have to have a Stepp stool. Other than that works great.. March 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great tower This tower gives u the flexibility to perform a few exercises that are difficult without it. Dips, pull-ups, and ab knee raises. Tower rocks sometimes with pull-ups, but doesn't tip. I put hockey tape on the metal for grips this worked well January 22, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great product My only complaint about the product so far is that when I'm in the knee raise position it feels a lil awkward. Nothing I can't get accustomed to just a lil weird as first. Overall is sturdy, easy to assemble and easy to move once assembled. November 27, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great for the price. I've been shopping around for one of these for a long time. The dip grips are slightly farther apart than I wanted. I eventually settled on this one because of the sturdy construction and the REALLY small footprint. It fits nicely against a wall in my garage, with no need for moving it away from the wall to use it. Biggest complaint is the frame isn't perfectly straight. Once I got it all together there's about 1/2" wobble. I tried to loosen everything temporarily and re-tighten but no luck. I was able to bend it a little, but only slightly. I ended up placing a small piece of rubber under one of the footer sections. Would be even nicer if it had rubber grips, but it still works great. November 4, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by uncomfortable to use I should have tried a few out before buying. The arm pads are a little too far apart and the stitching on them is very uncomfortable on my forearms. There needs to be Ann easier way for shorter people to get onto it. Assembly wasn't too bad, except that the back uprights aren't labeled left and right, so I had to take it apart and redo it when I was half way done. October 28, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Definitely recommend The tower has accomplished exactly what I had hoped. Easy assembly and very stable April 29, 2014
