Rated 5 out of 5 by AvidGolfer Excellent Rangefinder! This rangefinder is a great buy! I've never used a rangefinder until this year, but this one does the job. The target is easy to spot with the magnification and locking onto the pin is usually pretty easy. If you can't get the pin with one press, pressing and holding will toggle the distances of the target in the background and the pin. One of the best features is the small size, fits in your pocket and is much less bulky than other more popular units. You can't beat it for the price and performance. August 29, 2015

Rated 1 out of 5 by pingman A Shakey Rangerfinder I was elated to receive this product as a gift. Upon opening the box I was astounded how small it was so could wrap my hand around it. I am 6'1" and have large hands-there in lies the problem. The issue is spotting a target, pushing the button and holding the unit on target because I am shaking to hold the unit-power it on and spot. Everyone in my golf group had the same experience. It made us feel incompetent. We play more than enough golf and have handled many rangefinders. The unit is too small, too lightweight, and at minimum needs an image stabilization feature. The unit is well build and has great quality. The issue is ergonomics for a person with bigger hands and shakiness when spotting a target. August 18, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Trini HUGE disappointment! I thought that by now golf range finders had become such a commodity that surely Nikon would make a decent one. I had a Bushnell PinSeeker for 9 years and it finally gave it up so I decided to get a cheaper model (since I can't hit a golf ball 500 yds.) and I've used Nikon cameras and been impressed. Bad choice. I could not hit the flag from inside 100 yds. The unit is too small to hold in 2 hands and steadying it with one is difficult (at least for me) even when leaning on the cart for support. Played 2 rounds with it and decided it wasn't me but the unit. Bought a Bushnell with JOLT technology and it's great. I guess it still doesn't pay to skimp on some things. July 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Silentkiller Great product This unit is very small so it is easy to pack it in a backpack or carry it. Works great and is very accurate with a nice crisp view when looking through it. July 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by MarkEr64131 ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS RANGEFINDER Why do golfers buy these? To get yardage. This rangefinder does exactly that at half the price of other models I've used. The cross-hairs horizontal line is wider and that helps align to the pin. Works great. Point and shoot. Gives accurate yardage. Every time. Period. End of story. June 22, 2015

This range exactly meets my needs in bow hunting deer and hog. I recommend that buyers be very careful in deciding on a rangefinder based on price alone. Less expensive means that one may sacrifice quality and clarity for cost. I am 64-yrs old and operate on a limited budget. I thought I could not afford this Nikon, until I researched more and learned that I should not afford any other rangefinder. I have found that this Nikon rangefinder is accurate every time. It is also comfortable to handle in the woods. Not especially good in low-light conditions because of the digital reading color; this is the only drawback. Otherwise, I really like having this unit to enhance my hunting experience. I would not have any other at this point in my life. May 26, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Satisfiedgolfer Nikon Aculon Range Finder I am going to Bandon Dunes, and I found out that my Sky Caddie isn't supported by Bandon, so I thought about getting a range finder. I didn't want to spend to much money, and I found this Nikon for a great price. I've just taken it out today and it works great. The view finder is crystal clear and the yardage is right on. The unit is small and very light. The brand Nikon meant a lot in the purchase, in that it is known for their optics quality. I recommend this product to whomever is looking for a range finder.
