Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 19 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect fit. Had my punching bag hanging from the rafters but decided to finish the basement with a drywall ceiling and didn't want to drill holes in it. So bought this instead and works great. October 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect for intended use Delivered on time; no missing parts! Assembly performed by one person although 2 people would make it a bit easier. Solid construction holding a 75lb. bag. Seems to be stable enough without having to use weights to anchor. Just make sure that you have adequate floor space. September 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Holds heavy bag Good product. Easy to assemble. ...................... September 9, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by It's decent The only problem I've had with mine is even with it bolted properly to the floor the stand doesn't seem sturdy enough it rocks a good amount when you hit the bag. But other than that it's a good product. August 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice basic heavy bag stand. We had the item shipped to our house. It came quickly and a lot of the assembly was already done, so it was easy to put together. We have a 100 lb bag, which it supports just fine. We put some mat squares under it to eliminate the squeaking sound that can happen it you punch or kick the bag. My wife does taekwondo on it, so it supports kicks, but you will want to put some weight on all three ends to stabilize the base. We are happy with our purchase. August 18, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by 100' bag Using a 100LB bag and other than the stand moving a little no problems so far, it allows the bag to spin and move without a problem. It hasn't started creaking at the joints or making any noise. I do recommend following instructions on set up and using two people. I know for a fact you can do it alone but help would have made getting a couple of the bolts in easier. Once together it works great. August 12, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Unstable Any solid kick or combination of solid punches will knock over this stand. I would not recommend it, other than for the price. July 3, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Does it's job, simple assembly, decent quality I gave this product 4 stars because it's priced pretty well, and is also pretty decent quality. I generally don't rate something 5 stars unless it knocks my socks off, and far surpasses expectations. I've had no issues with this stand. It holds the bag (100LB) at a decent height, so I'm not striking the chains/straps (I'm 6'1) when throwing jabs. Setup is pretty straight forward. To make life easier, I would suggest two racheting box wrenches if you have them. Certainly not required, but will speed up tightening. The stand is not very heavy, but it doesn't appear or feel flimsy in my opinion. Since it's not very heavy, if you need to move it around after assembly, drop the bag, and movement is very easy. The stand does need to have some weight put on each leg, and in the rear as well, so that it doesn't walk around on you. This is the case with just about any stand I've encountered. If there are any reviews saying the stand moves around too much, that individual most likely doesn't know what they're doing, and I would suggest disregarding those comments. To reduce movement, add weight. It's not rocket science. As pictured, there are pegs to place weight plates, or bags of sand work perfectly fine as well. Overall, pretty happy with the product. It does it's job, and didn't cost a fortune. June 24, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not too bad Dicks had nothing to do with the rating it's the maker of the stand. I ordered the stand through dicks from the maker and it didn't come with any of the bolts needed and it took awhile for the stand to get here then have to wait for the bolts now June 13, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not stable I gave it to someone else because as soon as you try to punch the sack a little, the stand is galling over or moving all around. May 28, 2014
