Rated 5 out of 5 by NClem Excellent jacket for ice fishing or snowmobiling This is a super warm jacket that I bought for my husband and I. My only negative comment is that it is definently very large, I originally bought an xs but had to send it back and order an xxs instead and that was still a bit big. It is good because you are able to put plenty of layers underneath, and you can make it fit a bit more fitted with tightening cords on the bottom and inner midsection. The jacket also is very warm and is very good and resisting the wind. February 9, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by trek50 winter chill I found that it could have been designed for taller/fatter people in the 5x size. The arm length is a bit longer than expected. And for the Job I preform all black or navy blue would have been better because of dirt. But this jacket didn't come in the 5x in those colors. As for how it handled, I was so warm I was sweating. Yet when the jacket started to cool I started to chill. So I guess that for a winter work parka it was a bad choice. It did however keep the cold wind from freezing me. February 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sierra Arctic armor I bought this jacket and bib for my husband because I was so afraid that he was going to fall in the water if the ice broke, I also bought a set for my 76 year old father , do to the same fear. Not knowing if it would really float like they say they do I wanted them to be protected anyway possible .just a few short weeks later my father had to go in the ice cold water not because he fell, but by choice, he saw a 16 year old boy fall through the ice so he jumped in and saved the boy. This is an extremely great product because of the the way it is able to float and not only saved a 16 year boy but also my father. So I just wanted to take time to let people know my story because I feel like with these on many more people will be much safer and and extremely warm. It gets a 5 start and my father would give it a 10. Thanks arctic armor for your great product. February 3, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by alf definitely worth it! backstory. i work for a railroad in buffalo ny. i had spent the first part of my career trudging through several feet of snow, in full on blizzard conditions. sometimes you are just plain stuck outside for several hours. i switched from the trusty carharts to this and wont go back. very light, very thin material, i thought it wouldn't work, but you could wear it over a t-shirt. anyone who has ever taken off a 25 pound soaked carhart should try this. i will mention that the hood fits funny, but that might just be me. i am writing this review because im researching the matching bibs...
