Customer Reviews:

Rated 3.6 out of 5áby 7 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5áby Soft Cushion, well built, and built in USA I just finished running in the hotel gym and it hit me about half way through my run how good my treadmill is at home! This thing at the gym was so hard, has no cushion, but thank you to it for making me realize the beauty of mine! The Proform zt10 has about the same size of running surface, but it has amazing cushion. I've had it for 3 months now so I feel its appropriate to review. Pluses: cushion, its quiet, and its big. Cons: I should have bought one withe touch screen/internet option, so shame on me. added bonus- its built in the USA! This didn't really dawn on me until recently that I made a good choice of buying something made here. I would definitely recommend this unit, I run approx. 23-28 miles a week and like I said, it took me running in a hotel gym tonight to realize what I have! September 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5áby Satisfied I like to run outside and for decades have poo-pooed treadmills. As a result, I usually don't run in winter, since in Iowa they tend to be harsh. So I finally broke down and bought a treadmill... the ZT10. I am pleased with it. The horror stories about the assembly are exagerated... took me 1 1/2 hours with 10 minutes of help from my son. It helps if you read the instructions completely and sort the hardware before starting. My unit runs fine. The only problem is that the hand grip heart monitor does not work properly... hopefully the customer service will send me a replacement console. Fortunately the chest strap monitor works fine, so its not a big deal. The shock absorbers are quite effective. My knees have been thanking me since I started running on it. Also, I can tell the shock absorbing is more effective than the treadmills at my work which are $3500 units. Yes, it is heavy, and it was a bear lugging the box inside. However, heavy equates with sturdy, and it has a very solid feel to it. Overall, I think it is a good treadmill for the money, and I'm pleased with it. August 17, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5áby Garbage, look else where Squeaks like crazy (and no i'm not 500 lbs). I typically turn on the T.v. and now I can't even hear it with with all the noise the treadmill makes. Highly annoying! Now, after 3.5 months it doesn't work. Screen lights up but none of the buttons work... In the middle of looking for my receipt to see if it's still under the factory warranty. For a 1000.00 dollars I'd find something better, wish I could return it. July 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5áby Some Assembly Required Let me start off by saying that this treadmill is a wonderful piece of equipment; however the assembly process is ridiculous. You must have two or more people to get the thing in the house. It weighs in excess of 200lbs. Once you get it in the house, the fun begins. We spent 2 1/2 hrs. assembling the machine. The hardest part is the console itself. It is awkwardly shaped and top heavy, making it extremely difficult to maneuver onto the legs. You have to be extremely careful about pulling on or crimping the wires** Once the machine is together, you can start jogging/walking right away. We were told by the salesperson at the store that it came with the maintenance kit - it does not, so you will want to get one of those either at the store or online. The iFit: This particular model advertises the iFit as being a great addition to your runs/walks - however it does not come with the treadmill. The module itself must be purchases separately and additional subscriptions can be purchased as well. Overall we are pleased with the treadmill. It seems to be made well and is a huge upgrade from our previous model. May 2, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5áby very poor quality for the money I purchased this treadmill via the website on 2/14/14. When it arrived the frame was broken. I contacted customer service and they arranged for it to be picked up and a new treadmill was sent to me. The replacement came with a gash in the computer console. I had waited a month for my new treadmill so I put it together, but it would not come out of demo mode or stop if turned on. I contacted customer service again and a new console was sent. I ran for 30 minutes only for it to stop working! Called customer service again and they went through a lot of trouble shooting steps with me, including having me take the console apart and inspect wiring (really??) which did not resolve the problem. Customer service offered to send another computer console (yay, 10 more days), but it is now on backorder with no estimate of when it will be shipped!! I've owned this treadmill for almost 2 months and have yet to really use it! April 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Gym Quality In-Home Treadmill This treadmill is great. It is very large, so keep that in mind when you are considering it. My only complaint is that it doesn't give the pace but there are conversion charts online for that. When we first bought it, the incline didn't work properly so I called ProForm service. This is where the 5 stars come in...I was in touch with a live, helpful person in less than 5 minutes. He shipped me a new incline motor with no hassles and I received it in 8 days. When we were installing the new motor, we realized a wire was unplugged in the original motor and it did work after all. Oops. This treadmill has everything I need. The fan is a little weak, but it works fine. Speakers are good. Screen is black and white but again, it works fine. For the price, this treadmill is an excellent value. I?ve used it for both walking and running and I?m pleased. Most of my sessions have been over an hour and I?ve had no problems. The noise level is decent. It folds up easy enough for me (I?m an average 5?5 woman and I have no trouble#. In my case, I really wanted the ProForm 2500 but I was going to settle for the 995. 995 was out of stock when I went to buy it at Dunhams so we went to Dick?s and they showed me the ZT10, The guys helping were very friendly and knowledgeable and this treadmill seems to be similar to the 995 with the screen I thought I?d be sacrificing from the 2500 #only ZT10 is B&W). I do not have the iFit so I am unable to review on that. March 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Solid Treadmill I was considering the ProForm 995 when I saw this one on sale for the same price. I bought it today and assembled it. I managed to put it together alone. It took about 2 hours and it would have been easier with another person. You really only need another person for about 10 minutes of the assembly time. I gave it 5 stars, but I haven't used it. If performance doesn't live up to the build quality, I will revise this review accordingly. (or create a new review, if I can't revise this one) Fit and Finish: This thing is pretty big. If space is an issue, this probably isn't the treadmill for you. It seems to be pretty well made and very sturdy. The package is very heavy and very bulky. I am 6'4" and weight about 250lbs. I had some trouble getting this thing out of my truck and into the front door. I'm not sure if my wife would have been any help, though. It was just too bulky and heavy for her to handle. Consider calling a friend or two to help get it in your house, especially if you have stairs. Assembly: It was pretty straightforward to assemble. Some of the steps weren't 100% correct, but it is obvious when something isn't necessary. I did not have all of the hardware that was listed in the hardware pack. However, I did not need all of the hardware. So if you check your hardware inventory and are missing 4 of the short 5/16" X 3/4" bolts, don't worry, they should be in the crossbar piece. Use: I can't really comment on that. I did plug it in and jog at 5mph for a few seconds. Everything seemed to work pretty well. If possible, I'll update this review in a few weeks to a month.
