Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 29 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great ball for great price. Made by Acushnet (Tilteist) in the USA. Even though my handicap hovers around 20, I can tell the difference between golf balls of different manufacturer's and composition ( 2 piece vs. 3 piece, different cover materials, etc.) Pinnacles do not feel as soft as Titleist Pro V-1, Callaway Hex control or Srixon Z off the driver or putter, but they don't feel like the cheaper "rocks" like Wilson Titanium or Top Flite XL. Pinnacle gold is a good compromise ball for me. Decent distance and decent controllability as I can shape a shot when I take the time to relax & concentrate on my swing. Also a good economic price point for me as a fixed income retiree. I also like purchasing a Made in the USA product rather than China. Willing to pay $5 more per box to support the American economy. Rated 4 out of 5 by Pinnacle Gold I'm a double digit handcap and this ball prety much goes right where you hit it. Very little spin and increase distance an average of about 30 yards on my drive and 10-15 yards on my irons. Plays good around the green and very affordable. After playing endless rounds with premium balls I switched to the Pinnacle gold because I kept losing expensive ball. The high spin rate on the more expensive balls would promote slices and hooks. With the Pinnacle I didn't get the high spin on the ball. My score, since switching to the Pinnacle Gold has decreased by 4 -6 strokes per round. I no longer worry about breaking a 100. So close to breaking 90! August 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by I am giving in to the gold I have played just about every ball out there except this one. I'm a double digit handicap so i was still testing balls out. I hit a ProV in to some tall grass and found this pinnacle gold about a foot into the tall grass. I figure I give it a shot on a Par 5, 572 yard 12th hole at Van Cortland Park GC. This is the number 2 handicap on the course. I drove the ball 290 yards and my second shot, which I hit with a 4 hybrid went 220 yards. That 2nd shot is the distance I normally hit my driver. I was on the green laying three and putting for birdie. So what, I parred the hole. Point is, I played this course numerous times and have never hit a ball straighter or farther. Now I know why my golf bud loves them so much. No I know why he always out distance me. Guess what ball I'm playing now? August 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pinnacle Scores Again! Pinnacle is one of my favorite golf ball brands. It is especially aawesome on the putting green. The quality & prtice of the product led me to purchase my Pinnacles at Dick's. July 21, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by These balls are something else!!! They are what they are. They are golf balls. All are round, each one pretty much identical to each other. If I have to compare them to other like products I have to admit they are as good or better than those. I have always preferred using Pinnacle Golf Balls and if you are giving out awards give this brand two thumbs up----- at least two!!!! May 19, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice bang for your buck!! Hard shell ball with a nice feel off the club makes it a good value!! May 4, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by good golf balls Good price and quality it seems like I get better distance then the others April 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great ball for the price Pretty much the only ball I play now adays since I usually lose a ball or 2 during a round, sometimes more. I am around an 11 handicap. Honestly these balls hit 3-5 yards farther than other balls I have used (I've used mostly all) and they have the spin of a Bridgestone E6. They last pretty long too if you don't lose it. I can usually get 2 rounds outta a ball. The only thing negative about this ball is on approach shots. Imagine a bouncy ball landing on a gym floor. When my buddies aren't looking, thats when I switch to my Pro V1x. I catch them using foot wedges so its OK. April 22, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pinnacle Gold Play Pro V1's (90%) of time but weather is Cold & Course not in that great condition. Pleasantly surprised by Pinnacle Ball & Plan to keep using when weather turns warmer. April 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best ball on the course Pinnacle is by far, in my estimation, the best ball on the course for the average golfer. You asked for my email address. You must have it if you sent me the survey. November 11, 2014
