Rated 2 out of 5 by Easton trekking poles Took these poles toColorado, left one kept slipping down. Couldn't use it. This was an expensive lesson on try product before leaving store. October 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by These are comfortable First time using walking sticks and I loved them off the start. My first day using them though I left them behind on top of Half Doom in Yosemite. I will be going to buy another pair. July 28, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Easton Mountain AL3 Trekking Poles The easy to use collapsible pole is reasonably light in weight and will "do the job" I have in mind for them. The price, comparatively speaking is good though if one searches other websites you might be able to find a better prices. Not sure about that. I do not know how they would stand up for backcountry hiking. My use will be primarily on main corridor trails in the Grand Canyon though I have not tested them there as of yet. June 30, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very happy Hiking in the Davy Crockett National Forest was much easier with these trekking poles. They are easy to adjust, provided balance and support in order to cross small stream. Very light weight and durable all at the same time. March 31, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Okay for training I've put a 100 miles on the poles now. The poles feel good in your hand and adjust very easily. The pole are a mid weight so not too heavy but not light weight either. My one complaint is the poles collapse relatively easy. I spent a few more dollars instead of getting a WallMart brand for under $20 and paid specifically for the thumb locks "rock-lock" So I'm not sure... March 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by A good product for walking and hiking This is a good stick for walking and some mountain hiking. Great for a tall person (I am 6' 4"). Maybe not for serious mountaineers, but very good overall. January 21, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great features! Bought a s a Christmas gift for my husband who started training for a long hikes. He said he loved them and actually prevented him from falling down. He also loves that he is able to adjust the height. January 17, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by AL3 trecking poles I purchased these so my mother, who is aging and has balance problems, could increase mobility in her hilly neighborhood. The have met that goal well and the release mechanisms are easy for her to adjust by feel given her very limited eyesight. January 14, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good for Hiking Overall very durable good product. It could move to great if it had "spring loaded" poles which comes in handy for downhill hiking January 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hiking poles Bought the poles for husband for stability when walking. The way you shorten and lengthen these poles is excellent. They have a lever you snap open and close rather than the usual cylinder you turn. January 13, 2015
