First off I'm not a good golfer. With that said, I purchased the R7's to replace an old set of Cleveland 792's. Wow! What a diference ! Way more distance & control. Had to totally readjust my club selection as I'm hitiing about a club and half further than before. The feel & sound are great although they are slightly heavier than my old Clevelands. Purchased the stiff metal shaft 4iron thru approach wedge. Have not used the A wedge on the course yet as I can not seem to hit it even little bit. Not even at the range. My other wedges are Clevelands & have no issues w/ them. So????

I recently replaced my SS Oversize King Cobra Irons with these Taylor Made R7's and couldn't be happier. I am getting a little more distance and I love the trajectory of these irons. When you hit the green the ball will stick. I did not like the grips that came on the clubs and replaced them with Golf Pride Tour Wrap Midsize. Clubs now feel great! I honestly believe my scores will come down using these clubs. Great set of clubs for the money.

Easy to hit for sure. Looks like a shovel at address. Once you play them for a while you'll start to want something more that allows you to work it a bit. Very thuddy at impact and muted feel. Great for the beginner golfer.

I won these in a drawing and I was initially going to sell them. A freind conviced me to try them first and that was a wonderful suggestion. My two year old clevelands are going to the closet. These clubs are great! I picked up about a club in distance and the accuracy is outstanding.

So I'd been looking to upgrade from my $300 Maxfli set and when I saw the price drop to [$]on these clubs I headed over to the local Dick's.The salesman was very knowledgable and set me up on the simulator right away. I immediately noticed the solid feel of the club and on the simulator I hit 8-10 right down the middle with the 6 iron.I took them to the course yesterday for a round of 9 and was extremely pleased with the clubs. I only played the irons the whole round and was amazed at how forgiving they are on miss hits.I was able to drive off the tee with the 4 iron and 3 shots later I was 10 yds off the green on the par 5 545 yd and did my usual 3 putt for a bogey. The same scenario played out on the next par 5.I did notice that I was hitting the ball on avg 10 yds further then usual.Anyways if you like the game and want to drop your score I highly recommend this set!!

This is a great set of clubs. The only thing is I like a little softer grip and they only come in the standard grips. This set has done well for me.

I bought these clubs 5 days ago for my 15 year old son who plays golf just about every day. Today he got a hole in one on a par 3 using his 9 iron. Needless to say... he absolutely loves these clubs!

Simply put these clubs will be the reason I break 80 before the season is over in Ohio. Great feel, balance, weight, and distance. Perfect all around, I paired mine with a Burner driver, and that is great also.

Bought these sticks on Tuesday after hitting Slingshot 4D, CallawayX18, and Adams A3. Took about 4 rounds in the net to decide, but it came down to the Adams and these. Great feel, nice balance and weight, and it comes off the face like a rocket. Paired them up with a Burner driver and after a couple buckets at the range yesterday, these clubs will be the reason I break 80 before the season is over in Ohio. Great irons all around and the Burner ain't too bad either, long and straight first ball to the last ball I hit with it.
