Rated 4 out of 5 by bigburly good beginner bike Had a little trouble with the first bike I got, the chain was popping off on every upshift into second gear. Took the bike back and it was replaced, the new model has been great through about 30 miles so far including one 16 mile fast paced ride. I really dont see the front forks being able to handle too awfully much but if you ride mild trails like I do it should be fine for a long time. The pedals are first to be upgraded. The frame on this bike is almoat perfect, just a little heavy and I see myself upgrading parts in the future just to keep the frame! All in all this bike is a mixture of mid grade and low grade parts but will be fine for anyone wanting to get into the game. July 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by fedupwitdagut #fedupwitdagut Great bike for the price. The bike tech at Dick's was knowledgeable and very helpful. Great way to get in shape especially for me with my bad knees July 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by frankiefresh excellent service! Jim at Tulsa hills is the man to see, very helpful customer service! If you decide to get a bike from dicks in Tulsa you would be a fool not to go to the Tulsa hills location. Don't forget to get the warranty! ! July 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gwizzy 2014 Diamondback Reponse XE I know it doesn't meet the "bike snob" criteria.. but for $300 a lightweight bike with disk brakes, rugged tires, etc... well for me, it works great! (Being I haven't rode in 20 years... I'm amazed at how far bikes have advanced.) I've put a little over 60 miles on it in the week I've owned it. A combination of street, path, and trails. I did stop by a bike shop and buy a new saddle though... the one that came with it killed my rear end after only 20 miles. Once I swapped it for a gel filled one, it's been much easier to ride. Rated 5 out of 5 by Cathy Comfortable ride When I left the store my bike was ready to ride. It is comfortable and has all the features I was searching for in a bike. The sales staff and technicians were very helpful in guiding me to best bike for my dollars. I feel like I got a good price and excellent customer service. July 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by jtlyall Outstanding Value ! Smooth shifting, smooth ride with front fork shocks. The front & rear disc brakes are the bomb when rims get wet and muddy. For the money, this should be one you check out before purchasing anything in the mountain bike line. The stock seat is very bony ! I replaced it with an "old folks" cushion packed saddle that makes riding this bike a true pleasure. July 23, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by lj Needs tuning You will need to take it to get it tuned up from a real local bike shop do not ride out of the box July 23, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Audi Guy Great bike, but hard seat This bike is a great overall bike. I road it 34 miles in one day and the seat was the most uncomfortable seat I have sat on. The bike is well built and at a great price point for what you get. I wish the brake pads were longer lasting but I'm still very happy with this diamondback. It shifts way better than those junky twist grips. I never find it trying to find the gear, I click and it's in than gear. Haven't taken it on extreme offroad but hope to soon. July 20, 2014
