TaylorMade SLDR Fairway Wood 4.7 5 21 21
This completes my TaylorMade Fairway Wood selection The club has good balance and sweat spot. Driving distance has improved by 25 yards. December 4, 2014
Awesome clubs!! I purchased the 3&5 wood to go with my SLDR driver. Within 5 swings of each club, I have already exceeded my old 3&5 wood yardage by 7-8 yards. The club is right where I want it all the way through the swing and I don't have to worry about waiting on the club head to catch up. I did have to reshape my swing a little because my old clubs were 10-plus years old. But, once I found the groove, I rarely have a miss hit. I'm looking forward to many great rounds with these! Freaky Long I just played 2 rounds at a work event and used rental clubs. The set came with SLDR driver, 3 & 5 wood. I hit the SLDR driver before and didn't like it and I still don't. My first drive was a dead 240 yds. I was 275 away and decided to hit the 3 even though I max out at 240 or so with it. I hit it to the fringe. I figured the distance was wrong. So I teed up the 3 wood on the next hole and hit it 288. This club is crazy long. My worst drive with it in 2 days was 240 into a stiff wind. It consistently goes further than any other 3 wood I have ever hit. Oh and it was always straight or a slight draw. The only thing I don't like about this club is its gonna make me never hit my Big Bertha driver that I absolutely love. Try this club, you will love it. November 6, 2014
Great addition to my set The SLDR three wood is a great addition to my set. I have the SLDR driver and hit it well. The three wood has a low trajectory and I love it. It goes further than my old stage 2 three wood. You can't go wrong with this three wood July 16, 2014
TaylorMade SLDR Fairway wood This is a great product that was set up and adjusted really well to meet my golf swing. July 9, 2014
Long and straight!!! Picked up about 10-15 yards, and easier to hit off the deck. June 17, 2014
All that it was made up to be This club not only looks great, but performs better than it looks. I picked this and the hybrid up after buying the Driver, and couldn't be happier. Easy to work the ball right to left or left to right, and flight the ball high or low. Distance is consistent, mishits still travel well. It is really long off the tee. I did get the heavier shaft, 77 grams instead of the lighter shaft. June 11, 2014
Great 3-wood My son needed a new 3wood, so I did what any good Dad would do and gave him mine so I could get a new one. I have been very happy with this club. Hitting it off the deck or off the tee, it performs very well. I really like the feel of swinging this club. Lots of confidence with it. The only criticism I would give it is that I do not see the added loft TaylorMade advertises. Not that it is a problem for me, I just did not see an increase in the flight of my ball. Maybe TaylorMade could send Natalie Gulbis out and give me a lesson on how to get it up. June 3, 2014
More than expected! Replaced an R7 3 wood and gained 20-25 yards with a good swing (same loft but longer shaft). Much easier to hit than the R7. So pleased I purchased the SLDR 5 wood just a few days later. May even replace R1 driver which is new this season. May 28, 2014
Great fairway wood I was having trouble getting my 3 wood off tight fairways so decided that a 4 wood would do the job for me, and give me the extra yards that I needed for those longer holes. Love my HL 3 wood from TaylorMade. It is 17 degrees of loft with an additional adjustment for more loft. This transformed the 3 wood into a 4 wood. Great job TaylorMade. May 26, 2014
