Rated 5 out of 5 by Same Same Love the quality of this ball. I'm a single digit handicap (7-8) and I wouldn't have chosen it if there was ANY performance difference between the x-out and full priced Pro V1. Given that the performance is the same why wouldn't you go with the tremendous cost savings? Oh right, I forgot...the unsightly x-out on the ball makes you a lesser golfer right? Or even...the numbers on the balls aren't in order or too high? Really!? Personal preference I guess. I'm more concerned about the And don't let anyone tell you there is a difference in the quality. Titleist would not put their name on it and given their stringent quality controls a slight blemish unrelated to the construction of the ball makes it eligible as an x-out product. That's it. Bottom line is ...Great product with the expected performance of its much costlier twin. October 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by like stealing! Do your own research! These balls are legal for tournament play every Wednesday the usga updates it's list of banned golf balls and these do not appear on the list, when balls are printed "x-out" or "practice " they are classified as a logo golf ball ,company name , picture, etc. So unless the tournament evokes a local rule stating otherwise, they are usga approved BTW I have competed with these balls and made it known to my playing competitors and tournament official's. This is how I was made aware of this fact....so save your money! March 8, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Pro V1 almost I purchased these golf balls with the expectation that the product would be Pro V1 not Pro V1x the harder ball. If you read the box carefully, it says there could be other balls than Pro V1's in the package. My mistake. I returned the box unused with receipt to Dicks and received a full refund and then paid more for new Pro V1's. You gotta love golf and the golfing mind! December 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worth every penny Pro v 1s are pricey but the x outs are hard to beat for money. Great ball and value February 3, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by great product for price The overall quality and performance is A plus. For a reduced price the ball acts just as good as the higher priced regular ball. I have bought this product many times in the past an never have disappointed.Hopefully this purchase will be the same in all aspects and I can have the same opinion. November 13, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good value Good value for a high end ball. A good friend of mine once told me "We only rent golf balls". November 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by C'mon..1 Star..Really!!? If you rate the regular Pro V1 at 5 stars then this ball is its equal. I live in a very prominent golf community and the golf pros all have told me there is nothing that detracts from this ball's performance against the full priced version. And as previously mentioned in other posts the Titleist quality control would not allow a bad batch onto the store shelves. I switched to the X-outs at the beginning of the summer and my scores have steadily improved due to the ability to check these balls up better on short shots than the e6. Very good ball for an outstanding price. October 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by I took a chance... A friend of mine was playing these while I was paying full price for the standard version of this ball. After playing a couple dozen X-Outs, I can tell you they play just like the real thing and this is now my ball for weekly games. Only have to pay full price now for my tourney balls. July 17, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Titleist Pro V1 X-out I was amazed... These balls are just as good as the real thing... May 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Play perfectly Can't beat the cost, if you can get by X-OUT on the side, the rest is gravy. Mix of V1x and V1, seems to be more x's. Great ball for a great price! May 14, 2013
