Rated 4 out of 5áby Easy and spot on I was indecisive between this watch and a Garmin. Comparing the two I figured the only difference was price and the Garmin allows you to program for pacing (alerts to let you know if you are on track, behind, or ahead of projected pace time). Because I tend to be a very easy pace runner ( I don't live by the watch, I wear a watch but only glance at it either towards the end or once I'm done) I figured I wouldn't be missing out if I didn't have a pace coach or whatever the feature is called. Granted unless you view the online video (available via youtube) you may have a difficult time programming or running the watch. I hear Garmin is more intuitive --- can't confirm or deny this claim, BUT unless you really CAN'T watch a quick video tutorial then don't buy the watch. The video was easy to follow and understand. Once you view the tutorial the rest is easy. Setting up the watch, finding a GPS signal is quick (20 secs or so for me --- first time it took about a min), and storing the info and uploading is simple. Mileage tracking is pretty spot on. I was using the mapmyrun site online and mapping was becoming quite the pain. BUT the same routes I had mapped before were identical to the routes I ran with the watch, so I would give it an A+ for accuracy. I haven't had an issue with the signal dropping, but then again it hasn't been cloudy where I live since I got the watch, but other GPS based apps I've used tend to get skewed readings during overcast or cloudy days. Battery life is great -- granted my longest run with the watch has only been 6.5 miles ---as my mileage increases again for my next half I'll see how much more battery life is depleted with longer GPS usage. But as of now I can go out and run 4 times without having to charge (each run avg between 4.5-6.5 miles) --- and even then the battery life was around 60%, I charged because I wanted to upload my data, so i let the watch after uploading. Overall for a simple and reliable GPS watch under $100 I definitely recommend this product. May 20, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5áby Love the watch I love this watch but the instructions were horrible. I even watched the you tube video and the screens they were showing in certain spots were not the ones I was getting. Too confusing and no explanation for the abbreviations. I finally watched the instructions for a different watch and that helped out a lot even though the buttons were a little different. I still struggle to get it to work the way I want it to. Would give it 5 stars if I could just figure it out. It has a lot of options on it. I love the big display because I don't always were my glasses but am still able to read the middle display. The other ones are too small so I just make sure I save my results and look at them later. Great watch if you can figure out how to work it right. I like the color options too. May 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5áby why would you need a GPS watch for treadmill use??? I love it. Watched a few minutes video on You Tube and it works great,. April 23, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5áby DO NOT BUY This product is TERRIBLE! It is the most complicated watch I have ever used. It is bulky and uncomfortable and very hard to put on and take off. It has a 12 page user manual and after studying it cover to cover I still could not get it to work. It is not remotely user friendly. Furthermore, you have to be running on an open road for it to work. No treadmill, no wooded areas, no tall buildings. Save yourself the money and splurge a little more for a watch that actually works. February 12, 2014
