Rated 5 out of 5áby Mikey13 great starter bow for kids! Bought one for each of my two boys 6 & 8 years old,the quality is good and super easy to set up. Both my son's are enjoying them and are very simple to shoot even for a small framed 6 year old. January 14, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby ForMyGirl Accurate and powerfull enough to be real My girl got this for my daughters 7th birthday. I adjusted the draw weight down as far as I could and it was still a bit of a pull for her at first. I paid a lot more to get it in camo - but it was worth it because she likes how it looks just like mine. We have a big back yard with a 200 foot run along our back fence. It's a good thing because she went from 25 foot to 50 in the first day - and now we're maxed out in the yard at 150 foot (even with a backdrop we keep it far from the fence so no shots go astray, We've bumped her weight up to the max now (25lbs#, and for her 8th birthday I'm looking at the next bow up - I just wish it had more of a range than 24-29 #she wants to hunt and I think she needs 35lb#. I'm also giving her a fishing reel - and this bow will turn into her fishing bow - I've used it with my reel and other than a short draw for me it worked great. She had a cheap recurve before the Brave, but it was still a big bump up because it was only about an 8lb draw. If it's your kids first real bow then adjust it down, get them a good archery glove, and let them work with it. If they struggle to lift a gallon of milk #8lbs) and put it into the refrigerator with one hand - then you may want to get one with a lighter draw. Other than that - let them build up to it a little at a time so they don't get tendonitis. I think the Brave is a great first bow that will last a long time, and makes a great fishing bow for in a small boat to let inexperienced adult archers use. With a max weight of 25lb I wouldn't recommend it for hunting anything larger than rabbits, March 18, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5áby Lisa45 This product is a waste of money My son shot the arrows that came with this bow twice. They broke in a target designed for bows. Would not recommend anyone to purchase this bow unless you want an extremely disappointed child January 6, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5áby rndman13 doesn"t go low enough for my 8 yr old grandson I like the bow and felt it would be a great buy for my grandson, but the draw weight should be reduced to accommodate children. He was not able to pull back so I had to go with a different brand that does allow for a lower draw weight. February 22, 2014
