Rated 5 out of 5 by JB Great Deal We bought this item a couple of years ago to take to the beach and wound up using it a lot more often than we thought. We also bought it to put inside a stall at horse shows to use as a changing room and to help keep dust off items. I saw the in store display and thought that for an actual pop up easy up type canopy that it was a good price. We had seen the cheaper made kind of canopy that requires you to set it up in pieces for more money. So as long as this one held out for the season we thought it would be a good deal. Actually, we have had it for a year or so and it got a lot of use. I also used it at a local outdoor event for my business and it seems to be as well made as many of the other tents that went up for other businesses (better than some). By chance, we happened to go by a local Dick's store and saw them on sale for $49. I bought two more. One to keep in the closet at my office for using for outdoor event booths and one to use for whatever. We are keeping the one that I bought last year down at the beach for everyone to use. The inside of the canopy is lined and does a good job of keeping out the sun and rain. On the downside, the zip up cover bag with wheels bit the dust when a family member tried zipping it up with sand in the zipper and broke it and I bent one of the legs setting it up when I was in too big a hurry - but it is still functional. This thing is basically the same thing as an ezup but 1/2 the price. Overall, the canopy is just as good as much higher priced models that we have had in the past. Just remember that the size is measured by the size taken up by the extended legs (which is 10 x 10), not the actual canopy itself (which is closer to 8x8). However, you are not getting ripped off. This size deal is the same for any of the canopies which are sold according to their bottom dimensions so that people using them for trade shows (where space is at a premium) know how much space they actually take up. If you want a canopy closer to 10x10 coverage, you have to buy a canopy that is actually a 12x12. But that is true for any brand. Remember that any brand of these canopies are not high end mountain treker tents able to withstand artic blast. They are basically a trade show style tent. Also, don't get a recreational canopy selling for $50 to $150 that you can set up in mere seconds confused with a $700-$1500 commercial grade canopy that takes much longer to set up. If you take care of this canopy, you can get several years out of service. If you treat it kind of rough like we did, you can expect about a year. Overall, the 10 x 10 would be a good deal at $100, an excellent deal for $75, and an absolute steal for under $60. After having one for a year, when I saw them on sale for $49 - I bought two. Rated 3 out of 5 by annoyedbyatalltheinfoneededforareview Nice product, don't confuse with 100 sq. feet of coverage... Good solid product although the "10 x 10" is misleading. The "10 x 10" is in big letters and referring to the base of the canopy compared to the top shade which is actually 8 x 8 feet. 64 square feet of coverage is mentioned in smaller print and I missed it. Still a good item, I just got duped by the tactical packaging. February 22, 2015

Rated 4 out of 5 by Selling Outside Bought at $59.00 So I got this on sale and put it up right away. It ripped immediately where the velcro attaches at the bars because I didn't know that you don't attach them until completely up, so FOLLOW DIRECTIONS! Thank goodness I bought the replacement plan for 1yr, so worth it! This does the job and if you have anchored down it will stay where it needs to. July 2, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by MidasWelby They stand behind it! I bought the canopy for camping and opted for the "No Sweat" protection plan to go with it in case of the unforeseen. The canopy stores well in the case and sets up easily as expected. Eventually on one trip the wind got the best of it and it failed. That's when the friendly staff at Dick's stepped up and replaced it, no questions asked. They know how to treat their customers and have definitely earned my loyalty! February 27, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by BW64 Nice tent for the $$. The Quest 10' x 10' canopy tent is very nice. It serves my purpose at the farmers markets. It's fairly easy to setup once you get the hang of it. The only real negative I see with it, is the strength of the legs. The legs are made of thin steel and are not as strong/rigid as those of a more expensive tent. Therefore when setting it up, it is best to setup with at least 2 people in order to not put all the stress on one leg as you are raising it. 4 people would be best if they're available, also makes it go up faster. 1 person can put this up but you must be careful and constantly relieve the pressure off the leg. Best way to raise this is to stretch it out, bouncing it helps, get underneath in the center and push up on the frame. Then go to each corner and lock the ball pins. Then work your way around extending the legs. Gently bouncing it helps. Would I recommend this tent? Yes. Depending on what your intentions are for it It was worth the $60.00 I paid. Would I pay $100 for this tent? NO. I would put the $100 towards a better quality tent first. September 5, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by camp fanatics great value We've had this canopy 3 camping seasons now and are still very happy with it. I would have rated it a 5 but I ended up adding guylines to the canopy. If it had come set up with them it would have gotten the extra point. Those who were not happy with the issues in the wind.....what did you think would happen with a big umbrella type item????? I have water proofed it twice to make sure the seems don't drip, but again, It's outdoor equipment....take care of it as such!! We use it camping, around the yard at home to keep the kids out of the sun, even at the kids sports outings....I have gotten my moneys worth!!!.........For what we paid for the 10x10, it was a fantastic value.....just be smart with how you set it up and take care of it as you would any camping equipment and it will last and make you happy!!!!!........happy camping!!!!! Rated 1 out of 5 by Kickinbass NOT WATER RESISTANT... or what it used to be! My Wife and I received a Quest canopy as a gift about 10 years ago. We ended up buying the tent body, privacy screen and netting attachment for it and used it for camping, picnics, parties, garage sales and more. Thought it would be a good idea to buy a new to replace the old one. Got it on sale for $49 the middle of June and used it camping over the 4th the of July 2014. It seems that in 10 years the Quest focus went from "quality" to "quantity". If we lower the price we can sell MORE!! Not always a good idea. The frame is thinner/cheaper, the canopy feels about as thick as a bed sheet and the carrying case doesn't even feel durable enough to hold a folding camping chair let alone a canopy like this. The thing that really got me and my Wife is that it says it's "water resistant". Ha. We had a steady rain that lasted about 30 minutes. The rain seeped through the canopy onto our picnic table which was covered with food and other camping items! NOT WATER RESISTANT! We discussed getting waterproofing spray to resolve the problem but in all honesty it's not our problem. It's Quests problem that they are now making an inferior, NOT WATER RESISTANT canopy! Never had a problem with our old one...EVER! I understand there is a difference between "waterproof" and "water resistant", but a screen door would've provided as much resistance as this canopy. If you're "looking for some shade on a sunny day without any wind or rain" or looking to "not spend a lot of money" or looking to "buy a new one in a year or 2" this canopy is for you. To sum up, I have fixed the bracing in our old canopy and will use it as our primary , our new one will be our backup to our backup which will be my screen door from the back of my house. I hope Quest gets back to the idea of "quality". I'll gladly pay more and give better reviews for that! ~Peace July 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by LAR Awesome! GREAT product! I got this for our beach vacation and was worried that wind would be a problem...but it wasn't at all! This canopy did really well with the wind..and on the beach! It does take two people to put up (in my opinion), but it is also very easy to put up and take down. Overall a great product for a great price. June 29, 2013
