Rated 4 out of 5 by Bobber Great advancement in ice fishing equipment Automatic line feed is great feature along with line not coiling. Rod is average, a good value. No instructions were included, but after some trial and error figured out the features. The reel quit winding on the first use, but was a pretty easy fix once I found the part that was misaligned. Rated 1 out of 5 by kwm0 junk the reel failed before I fished with it. returned to the store for a different choice. February 6, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Kane Good little .rod Not bad, but you can't use heavy line anything under 6 lb test will do.I like the real but the rod is too stiff, you deff. need a spring bobber. The reel freezes when it gets below 30* and ya get a back lash if you don't hold your finger on the spool. They say that with an inline reel your jig falls without making it spin but it still spins so that's a crock.Would I get another one probably not unless it had magnets in it to adjust the spin on the spool so you don't get a back lash . Rated 2 out of 5 by MassIce43 Not impressed While I like the rod as a whole now it was not turn key fishing from the package. I had to adjust the drag and spool before putting line on it. Now that I have caught plenty of fish I am still messing with the bale release button occasionally on the ice. January 24, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Fisher34 Poor quality In concept the real is good. In function it is poorly built. Any fish over five inches caused the gears to slip and not retrieve the line. Rod was good but way to stiff for panfish. January 14, 2014
