Rated 5 out of 5 by Schwinn 170 I am happy with the product that suits my physical needs....I am not happy with the 3rd party responsible for assembling the product. September 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Schwann 170 exercise bike Great bike, comfortable seat , get a great workout, easy to assemble, worth the money September 12, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Beware of this bike I purchased my Schwinn 170 in August of 2015. The assembly took some time but wasn?t overly difficult. It had a problem right off the bat, the resistance could not be adjusted. Nautilus customer service diagnosed the problem over the phone and sent someone out to replace a motor under full warranty. Fast forward to August 2016 and I am hearing a ratchety noise coming from the right side of the enclosure. After several conversations with Nautilus customer service the problem was diagnosed as faulty bearings in either the drive pulley or the flywheel pulley. The labor warranty for the bike had expired but the parts warranty was still in effect and they shipped me the two pulleys free of charge. To avoid the minimum labor charge of $189 (more than half of what I paid for the bike) I did the job myself, which required basically taking the whole thing apart. It took me parts of several days and multiple calls to Nautilus customer service for help to complete the repairs. The Nautilus customer service folks could not have been more patient and helpful but I would not buy this bike again. In the approximately one year I?ve owned it I used it only in the winter months when I did not bike outside, and then less than an average of twice a week, no more than 30 minutes at a time. This bike is not well made, it should not be breaking down so soon with such limited use. I don?t know if this applies to other Schwinn/Nautilus equipment but if I have to buy another it won?t be this brand August 30, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Does what I expected..... I don't have unrealistic expectations, it does what I want it to do. I don't want to design my own programs, it's programs are adequate for the entry level person. I don't expect it to have saddle bags for tons of stuff. It's a stationary bike, you don't travel with it. July 8, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Arrived much sooner than anticipated Product assembled and operated the following day without any issues. Turned out to be a really great deal. May 23, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Average Bike Quick shipment from Dick's. Easy to assemble. No operator's manual, I guess I need to google a manual. The controls are fairly straightforward. There is very little storage to hold magazines, books, remote control, iPads, cell phones etc. May 16, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by bad motor Bought this bike almost a month ago. Assembled it at home, and found out it had a bad motor out of the box. Called Schwinn because you can not return it back to where you bought it. They sent out a repairman,(I had to time off of work) and agreed it had a bad motor. Schwinn is sending out another one. But we have to assemble this one also. Assembly is not covered under the warranty. I think they should assemble it this time. I will not buy another Schwinn product. April 19, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed with purchase We are disappointed with this exercise bike. Previously we have purchased multiple Schwinn exercise bikes. The last one was a 140 which is no longer available. With the new 170 bike we can not design our own programs, the seat is too small (we had to use the seat from the 140 bike, and the heart rate monitor is terrible. Works good with a wireless sensor, but does not work well with the handle bar sensors. March 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Bike I spend hours reading reviews on several sites. I picked this bike because of the features important to me-wireless telemetry for heart rate, number of available programs, Mag. resistance, number of users and smooth operation. BEFORE you buy it go to the store and try it out first. Make sure the seat will adjust to fit your needs. I think you will be impressed with the ride quality and seat comfort. I did have a problem with the console but I am being sent a replacement. Tech support was great!!!!! Love my new bike March 7, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good value The bike was all I expected after reading many comparison reviews. It's sale price made it a good value. Relatively easy to assemble, and very enjoyable to use. February 1, 2016
