Rated 5 out of 5áby The real deal. The reviews of this product were consistently positive, causing me to make the purchase. I have not been disappointed. Everything I need. High quality. February 19, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5áby Excellent Recumbent Bike.....but Excellent Recumbent bike. It's comfortable and exactly what I was looking for once I figured out how the wireless hear rate monitor works. I've had it for about 5 months and have been using it. The instruction manual is very, very basic when it comes to the wireless heart rate monitor and how to link it up or how to set it. Yes, the bike does have the handles that pick up your heart rate but it was way off. The first couple of times I used the handles, they were fairly close to my Polar M400 and H7 heart rate monitor ratings. But it is way off now, I'm barely breaking sweat and my M400 watch shows me at 105 beat per minutes but the bike monitor shows me at 90% of my workout range. I've stopped using the handles to monitor my heart rate. Also, my Polar M400 and H7 heart rate sensor would not connect to the bike's wireless pick up point/location. I contacted Schwinn and asked for assistance. They told me to buy another heart rate monitor and try it again. If that didn't work, to call their 1-800 number for support. Yea, Ok, I'll do exactly that (sarcasm). I started playing around with it and if I start the bike, and go thru my User 1 settings and then pick and start a "timed" workout session, the bike will pick up my H7 heart rate monitor. I then connect it to my Polar M400 watch. If I pair up the H7 heart rate monitor and M400 watch first and then try to pair it up with the bike, it WILL not work. You have to pair up with the bike first then pair up with the M400 watch, then the bike will register your hear rate. By pairing up with the bike, I mean the bike will pick up the H7 heart rate monitor wireless transmission automatically. There is no physical pushing of buttons or setting any program up. Rated 1 out of 5áby Motor needed replaced The warranty is covering the motor and installing it but I've had the product for three weeks and have not been able to use it yet February 4, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby MOST COMFORTABLE SEAT. I'M 74, I'VE USED OTHER BIKES AND THEY WERE UNCOMFORTABLE SO I ALWAYS GAVE UP BECAUSE SOME PART OF MY BODY ALWAYS HURT AFTER 6 MINUTES. I'M UP TO 20 MINS AT LEVAL 7 , I HAVE ASTHMA SO I GET BREATHLESS , I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS BIKE TO EVERY SENIOR OR TO ANYONE WHO HAS A BACK PROBLEM . I CAN'T RAVE ENOUGHT ABOUT THIS RECUMBENT BIKE. Rated 5 out of 5áby Recumbent Bike - Value for the Dollar Our physician advised us to look into using a recumbent bike for exercise. We looked at several products and after discussing options with the Exercise expert at the local Dick's, we decided on the Schwinn 270. Due to inclement weather, we went ahead and simply purchased ONLINE and picked the bike up at our local store, when the weather improved. The "weight" was cumbersome in getting the bike home, but once inside the house, the assembly took some time but went very smoothly. All the parts were there and the directions were good. Rated 5 out of 5áby Excellent value I have researched many recumbent bikes online and in stores. This Scwinn model 270 gives you the best value. We purchased it online last night and picked it up at the store today. What could be easier? It took about an hour to assemble and it did come with a manual even though one is available online. I enjoy the many different resistance levels and the ability to connect to my iPhone for motivation. January 31, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby Love my 270 Recumbent!! I've only had this recumbent for 3 weeks but compared to other ones I've ridden, it is a Cadillac! All the feedback you need is right at your finger tips. So many neat features. Great way to XT & burn calories. January 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby Excellent Product with One Flaw This is a great exercise bike. I've never seen better assembly instructions. It took about an hour. One of the things that makes assembly so easy is that the parts are all laid out on heavy cardboard and then shrink wrapped. The cardboard is printed to indicate part A, B, C and so on. You don't have to try to figure out if this is the right washer for a 6 mm x 20 mm bolt. Bolt A gets Washer G (or whatever). Simple and quick. The thing that is amazing to me - and has been mentioned by others - is that the operating manual is NOT included. Seriously. At the price this bike sells for, it should be included. Not only that, they included a fancy color catalog showing other products for sale. Leave that marketing stuff out, and include the manual, would you Schwinn? January 26, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5áby I enjoy the bike! I wish the seat was a little bigger and more comfortable. The seat's tilt is a little awkward but I like the bike so far. January 23, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby Great Bike I ordered it online and had to assemble it. This was a 2 hour process, but the directions were easy to follow... just time consuming. Once together, the bike is fantastic. Easy to adjust, smooth to ride, quiet and the seat and back support are excellent. Would definitely recommend this bike!! January 22, 2016
