Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 30 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great ball! I have a 6 handicap that is based on straight driving, a good short game, and mediocre iron play. This ball is perfect for me- long and straight off the tee with plenty of spin and good feel around the greens. The added bonus has been the great spin off of the irons. I have a medium ball flight that relies on spin to stop the ball on fast greens. The high end Maxfli balls (U4 and U6) deliver all the distance and spin of the Pro-V, B330, and Callaway balls. Rated 5 out of 5 by GREAT BALL for every feature but one versus the Pro V Here's my take on this ball: it is a great less expensive replacement for the Pro V. That said, it is not as long. My guess is by 10 or so yards. But it has equal or nearly equal playability. When it is $44 for two dozen it is a MUST buy. I can't for the life of me understand why this ball is not played more often. A bit about me and my take on this ball. I am a 9 index handicap and my clubs for years were Maxfli Australian blades and now are the Callaway X (a great club series). My swing speed with the driver is about 105. I'm not in any way knocking the Pro V but I've tried a lot of balls-- and everyone makes at least one very good ball-- but a perfedct less expensive alternative to the Pro V is the U6. Rated 5 out of 5 by New U6 balls Just bought 2 dozen U6 maxfli's yesterday. Tried them today, what a great ball. Has everything you're looking for in a ball. Distance, feel, extremely pleased. I am a 12 hdcp and think this ball is a winner. August 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Everything I needed. Flies straight, good spin and good roll on the fairways. Would definitely recommend and buy again. July 22, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good not ProV caliber Great all around ball that feels great but doesn't perform around the greens like a top shelf tour ball. May 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Equal the Best Great ball with true flight. Only issue, color of ball looses color and turns dull March 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by As Good As It Gets The Maxfli U6 is as good as any premium ball on the market, including the ball more pros are payed to play than any other. Working backwards form the hole; it has a nice feel putting, wonderful short game workability with chips, pitches, high lobs, and response from the sand. From irons and driver the distances are true and the flight exceptional. Its durability is what you expect from a premium urethane golf ball. Finally the color is improved, a brighter white than the previous model which was a dull almost gray color. At $22.50 per dozen...stock up! February 26, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Ball and value I tried this ball on a whim, since they were on special 2 for 1 at the time. I have played the Pro V 1X for years and occasionally the Srixon Z-Star. Much better feel than Z-star and comparable to the Pro V 1X. There were a great value at 2 for 1. January 1, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Really Good Ball I picked up a couple packs of these for about $22 each during a sale and they've been a great ball. I wouldn't pay full price for them since my level of play doesn't justify it but as far as quality goes I certainly think they're up there near Pro V1s, etc. November 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Value I'm usually very picky about the golf ball I play...usually only ProV1. I bought 2 dozen of these and I would buy them again if the price was right. Very good feel, spin, and distance. August 5, 2014
