Merrell Men's Moab Ventilator Wide Hiking Shoes 4.6 5 131 131
Great shoes I waited on the review until I had put some time in these shoes. I put them on at 5:30am and take them off at 9:00pm, 7days a week. I walk on concrete at work for 8-10 hrs per day, averaging 8-10 miles per day 5 days a week. (these shoes have some miles on them) I have had my Merrells for 8 months now. The soles look pretty much untouched (some wear on outsides of heels) they are dirty, but stitching is solid, no tears no rips, soles are well attached. The only thing wrong is the insole, the toe imprints in the insole are thin and cushioning left. (nothing lasts forever) This is the most I have ever paid for shoes, once I get some new insoles I will expect another 8 months on them. I would buy them again in a heartbeat. February 21, 2015
Superb! Very comfortable and light weight. Good snow traction. February 3, 2015
Merrell Men's Hiking Shoes Wonderful shoes that also, are excellent walking shoes. They fit my feet like a glove and are very comfortable. And, I like to colors, the shoes go well with any of my clothes. Great job, Merrell manufacturing. February 3, 2015
Merrell Men's Moab Ventilator Wide Hiking Shoes These are a great pair of shoes. I am very picky about my footwear and being a size 14, my size is often not in a store. Shipping was on time with no issues. They fit great and are comfortable. Doing fine so far but have only had them a short time. I purchased 4 pairs of shoes not knowing what size would fit. returned 2 pair to the store with no issues. Would definitely go this route again. February 2, 2015
very comfortable hiking and casual use. The wide width seemed to give my toes room to move freely. I usually take a size larger shoe but with a medium width. January 29, 2015
Love at first try on! This is the third pair of the same product that I have purchased. These are usually the only shoes I wear. I've walked and hiked hundreds if not thousands of miles in them. I still have my original pair I had purchased when the product first came out and I will still use them on muddy days. I currently wear pair number 2 daily and pair 3, my new ones, are used for dress only. They are light, comfortable, cool (ventilated) and with Vibram soles, they give me great traction and support that I need on the Superior Hiking Trail. I also use them in the winter with my snowshoes. December 16, 2014
Second pair & the third on order My first pair lasted almost 3 years. The inside wore out not the outside! I bought my second and then ordered a third pair to keep in the closet for when the 2nd pairs needs replacing. December 14, 2014
Great shoe when you are on your feet a lot -- like nursing. Good support, traction, cool and light. All you need when standing is a big part of your job. December 12, 2014
A very comfortable shoe A great shoe with arch support. The in store associates were very helpful when their particular store was out of stock with the size I needed. October 21, 2014
For me, the perfect shoe This is my 3rd pair of these in the last 4+ years. They are one of the few Merrell shoes available in WIDE, and that's critical for me as I have a foot problem that is aggravated when my feet get squeezed. These shoes save me from having to buy a size larger, which never feels right. These fit perfectly. I wore the last pair I had (literally) 6 days a week for more than 2 years. The old pair is still usable, but the tread is getting kind of smooth. The old pair does not look as good as the new pair, but they also don't look like they have been worn 600+ times. So I could get a pair in a different color, I bought a pair of the Moab Waterproof in WIDE directly from Merrell (DIck's does not carry them). Now with 2 pairs, I should be able give the shoes a rest. Who knows, maybe they will last 4 years. I travel a lot on business, and I like to hike/walk wherever I happen to be; these shoes are great to have with me because they are equally good on a rough trail in Switzerland or walking my dog on the sidewalk at home. They may not win you any fashion awards, but they will take what ever you can dish out, and your feet will feel good while that happens. My first 2 pairs came from the local retail location for Dick's. I went back there for the 3rd pair, but they were out of my size, so they let you order them on-line inside the store. If you order them in the store, they don't charge shipping, and I had them in 3 days. August 3, 2014
