Rated 1 out of 5 by Careful... Bought these for my 7 year old granddaughter about 9 months ago. This weekend the front end toe area came apart. Here's the thing. If you look closely at the stitching along the front, it is in exactly the place the skate is prone to scrapes by newbe skaters. No threads left ==> front end comes apart. Went out and bought a hot glue gun this morning with which I think I managed to repair back to some usable shape. But the sizing button on one skate is now missing as well, so cannot lock to size 1 as needed, so hot glued to lock at the 4 position and gave to the older sister while getting my granddaughter new. The elbow pads that come with this kit are also much too loose for kids, and I had to take to needle and thread to reduce length to fit -- though even then over a sweatshirt. Now that we are into spring, bare armed, they are now falling down her arms once again. For the money, not bad as a starter kit. Do not regret purchasing as it got my granddaughter into the sport. But the design leaves the skate wide open to wear and tear. April 24, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great, but with a couple caveats Got these for my granddaughter, seven at the time, now eight. She absolutely loves. For rollerblading, quality seems good, and have never had a problem while skating. So four stars there. Here's the thing. The lock down catches are plastic and not always easy to get to slide far enough in to then latch down, with the latch often times slipping a time or two before getting into place. Make sure to lock in well, as that is your ankle support. And once locked in, well, it's go, go, go. The pads are the other thing. We didn't really even notice they came with the skates, and so were pretty much a bonus. They are also the very same pads bought separately for her cousin, so these are not a cheap add-on to sweeten the offering. However, they can run large. And I had to get out needle and thread to double over and shorten up the length of the elbow pad straps, and they are still not exactly tight, though workable. So, for the price, just those couple of minor things to consider. Once solidly on her feet, it's Annie bar the door. And very much fun to watch. March 27, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect for beginning skater Bought these for my 7 year old granddaughter. She is learning to skate and these work well supporting her unstable ankles! Love that they are expandable for her growing feet. March 14, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great value I got these for my 8 yr old daughter and she has them on her feet every minute of the day she can! They are a little tough for her to get on all by herself as the buckle around the ankle snaps in tight. February 15, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Be careful We ordered two of these. One had no problems and was a new product. The second one appeared to be used as if someone had thier child try them for a period of time and then returned them. It came with scratches and the stopping pad was worn. The one that was returned should have had a reduced price due to the condition. Didn't realize DICKS sporting goods was a recycle center or used equipment sales center. January 14, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Poor quality The skates are very cute and my daughter loves them. However, the threads that attach the boot to the skate part, came out of the box already broken, causing the boot to detach. As these were a Christmas gift, from Santa, try telling a 7 year old they have to be returned. So after a lot of super glue, they were finally usable. They are great for a beginner and the included knee and elbow pads are a nice touch (much needed). January 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice set The inline skates are nice and my daughter really likes them. They seem to be of decent quality and since they are adjustable, should be able to use them for a while. The wrist, elbow and knee pads are big for her. Would recommend for 8+ September 4, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great skates My daughter loves them. It comes with all the accessories you need (even though the knee pads dont fit cause she to skinny for them). The blades fit me - they were comfortable. April 20, 2015
