Customer Reviews:

Rated 2.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great reel to decide if you like baitcasters This reel isn't jerky like other cheap baitcasters, however it is a cheap baitcaster. You cant buy a 50 dollar reel and expect a 200 dollar reel. The main thing about baitcasters is the setup. If done right will save lotta time on the water. BUT, until you get the setup right count on a few "birdsnests". to set it, whatever lure you are gonna use turn the knob till spindle free turns then tighten it up until it just barely holds then give about a half turn you should be set. remember you have to reset it when you change to a diff weight lure or jig. BTW disregard and reviews that complain about birdnests or line tangle, they simply didn't set it up right. some people expect a baitcaster to work like a Zebko 202 and its not. If you want to try a baitcaster and you are on a limited budget this is the combo for you. If you find you love them you can buy an expensive one. If you find it to be a hassle then your only out 50 bucks February 11, 2015
