Field & Stream PC Privacy Tent 2.1 5 7 7
Easy setup, challenging storage Read all reviews and agree. But I have figured out how to fold this and thought it may be helpful. I will try my best to describe without visual aids. Get the thing flat and hold the bottom in your hands out in front of you withbthe door side in your left hand. Twist your left hand and bring it towards your chest and you will be able to bring the right hand on top of it. hand under your left. Once you have that you can then fold the entire thing in half. From here it takes a little massaging to get the material touched away and in the bag. But once you get it once, it's s snap. November 11, 2014
Product works well (3 stars). No stars for ease of take down!! Used it for 5 days hunting worked great in rain and snow. Take down and repacking is a different story. Instructions are terrible. Ended up stuffing it in the back of my truck to get it home. Still trying to find a video to show how to fold it back into its carry case. Come on Field and Stream...demand better instructions from the manufacture and put a video on line showing how to take it down!! October 15, 2014
Refuses to fold up Unless you are a yoga master with a minor in origami, I would pass on this tent. I have scoured the internet to find ONE video on how to collapse this tent. Even the Field & Stream video selling it doesn't show them closing it up. This ought to give you an idea on the degree of difficulty. We got it down twice in 2 hours but could never replicate the procedure on camera for future reference. It's going back tomorrow. October 11, 2014
Very disappointed The tent was so light so even if you put all the pole the wind still blowing it away ! Don't recommend at all it a waste of money August 7, 2014
Now what do I do? I also cannot collapse the darn thing. It went up as easy as anything but, not only could we could not put it back in the bag, the three of us could not wrestle it into any smaller shape. I resorted to carrying it over my head, stuffing it in to the trunk and slamming the trunk lid just to get it home. No instructions came with it but we tried to use the figure 8 motion that you use with windshield shields. Nothing seemed to work. July 7, 2014
LOL: Advanced Folding Instructions Needed Success (closing the darn thing) and no, we're really not smarter. Also, contemplation within does not add measurably to a solution. Agreeing fully w the above review, in order to get this back in its bag it may be necessary to have three least two of whom have IQs above 140 and a third w 10 years experience mastering origami. We three eventually (30 minutes) accomplished a feat that should take about 30 seconds. July 5, 2014
Easy to set up; Nightmare to put away. To its credit, this tent was very easy to set up. It's spring loaded, so once you remove it from the bag, you just you toss it onto the ground and it pops right up. BUT BE WARNED! Once you take it out of the bag, you can NEVER get it back in, no matter how hard you try. And don't think that the instructions are going to help you either. To say that these instructions are bad is an understatement. They're comically bad? like worse than Ikea instructions. But hey, maybe you can handle it. Maybe you're smarter than me. But if you're not, you're going to have a heck of a time getting your fancy new pop-up crapper tent back into the car, and back to the store to return it while it's all unfolded, which is exactly what I have to do tomorrow. Think you can do it? Go ahead. Give it a shot. If you get discouraged, you can go inside your new tent, have a seat, and contemplate the horrible decision you just made. May 11, 2014
