Rated 3 out of 5 by water gets inside paddle just tried these paddles for the 1st time sun, and after awhile we noticed water gets into the paddle as stated in a previous review. i wounder if all such paddles w/ seams (paddle jions shaft, shaft jions handle) allow water in or if its just this model. anyway, ill see what dicks has to say, other than that you'd have to drill a hole to let water out, which would probably void the warrenty. everything felt good until the water got inside which made the paddle heavy and less comfortable to use. Rated 1 out of 5 by wouldn't buy again Liked the look, feel and weight of this paddle. It paddled well, but somehow water gets in the seals and now the paddle has water sloshing around in it. Will probably end up drilling a hole in the end to let the water out...pretty disappointing May 18, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good for the money These are light weight and easy to manuvear. Good Deal July 8, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Light, stiff, and comfortable grip I really like this paddle. I feels good in my hands because of the coating on the shaft. It may add a few ounces of weight to the paddle, but it is light enough for a day on a stream or the lake. I would not hessitate taking it with me on my upcoming boundary waters trip. It also alows me to move the canoe along and control it with ease. July 23, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Oar For emergency use on the Pelican 10E boat. Needed something that would not rust and easy to use in the marsh. March 30, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by felt good in the hand Haven't been able to use the paddles yet still ice on the water March 24, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by It works fine, but nothing special It will move your canoe and such, but you are best off getting the wooden one. This is overpriced. Also, nothing detaches, so you can not put it in an oar ring, you always have to hold it. Although it will fit into to hook that holds it on the side of your raft or canoe, but will not fit through rings September 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Paddle Have not used the paddle yet but, the sales people were nice. Your '' write your review'' States to ''row your canoe'' . Dear Dicks, you Rpw a boat & Paddle a canoe! Thus, why one would use a paddle for a canoe & an oar to Rpw a boat. Just a little ''Seamanship'' edict . Oh yea, boathook? Hey, thanks for asking! August 26, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by too short too short to be used with a paddleboard so we returned it and purchased an adjustable pole instead August 6, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great fit. This paddle was inexpensive and works great on my 16 ft canoe. July 4, 2015
