Great Swim Top! This swim top fits well, stays put while I am swimming, and is comfortable to wear. I also am pleased with the great delivery that "Dick's Sporting Goods" provides. June 20, 2014
Mixed feelings I had originally ordered the shirred tankini top, but found that it didn't have enough room in the bust. (I wear a D, I think the shirred would be best with a B -C max.) I exchanged the shirred for the Ocean Dot (black and white). I wasn't sure I was going to like the print, but it's very appealing. The high front neckline of the suit is attractive, but to be comfortable in the water, it must fit well. I went into the pool with it before altering the straps, and it wanted to scoop the water and flap around as I moved. I am very short, heavy busted, but narrow across the shoulders, so I needed to shorten the straps. Because the shoulder seams have a nice binding which would look sad and become bulky if I tried to adjust them there, I detached the straps at the back. NOT AN EASY JOB! Speedo does NOT want those straps to come off! It took me ages to get the straps loose. They were really well stitched on, and I had to go very slowly, very carefully so that I didn't cut into the fabric with my seam ripper. I've finally gotten everything reattached, and the suit is comfortable, the neckline is "staying put" in the water, and I'm very pleased with the end result. One word of caution: shortening the straps makes getting in and out of the suit more of a challenge! The Hydro Bra is basically a slightly shaped shelf bra. The stretchy knit fabric is thick enough for modesty in cold water, but thin enough and flexible enough to be comfortable, though in this suit the effect is sort of "uniboob".I've had other Speedo suits in the past which have lasted well in the warm water exercise pool. I hope this one gives as good service. March 28, 2014
