Rated 1 out of 5 by The birdies all broke Used the product for two days and all of the birdies broke. March 30, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor quality Very, very poor quality of materials. It breaks easily. September 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Grandma Plays Badminton I started my granddaughter who is 6 playing badminton and when her cousin who is 7 years old came to visit he also began to play. They both loved the game and wore me out playing. When I asked him what he wanted for his birthday, he said, "you know grandma", so I ordered him his own set and informed his mother that she had to learn how to play. All of the games and equipment at Dick's are great and we will be coming back to get some indoor games for those days this winter when we cannot go outside. September 22, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Meh. Broke all 3 shuttlecocks and one of the rackets on the first day of play. Was easy to setup, but it was cheap so I am not really surprised August 25, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Liked it. The net wasn't easy to assemble. Not bad however I feel it was over engineered. More complicated than it could be. The whole set was good. The birdies came apart the first day August 11, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor quality product The metal rackets were flimsy, with dime store craftsmanship. One came out of the box with cracked plastic and nothing more than what can be compared to electrical tape at best for the handle grip. The birdies didn't even last 30 minutes a piece. I didn't even bother with the net. Returning. July 14, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Quest Rec Level Badminton Set - Do not buy Net is sturdy but lacks any real support system. I had to make my own rigid supports to prop up the net. Rackets are very poor quality. 1/4 broke on 1st use. Do not waste your money unless you plan to use it 1 time only. July 9, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor Quality I purchased this set knowing it was an entry level set because I wanted to see if my daughter would enjoy playing badminton in the back yard. I didn't want to spend a lot on a good set if she didn't like it. That being said, I would not recommend this set at all. The set came missing one part, but the part was not critical. The net set up fairly quickly, but some of the knots had to be retied. I'm not a knot guy, so it wasn't super easy to do but we got it done. The boundary string was ridiculous. It took more time to untangle the boundary string then it did to put up and tighten the net. Plan on an extra 20 minutes just to untangle the boundary string. My 9 year old daughter broke two of the three supplied shuttlecocks in less than 2 hours play. Plan on buying more shuttlecocks at the time of purchase if you actually want to play more than just a few volleys back and forth over the net. I broke the wooden handle of the racquet without making contact with anything. It simply broke in half in my hand. June 16, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poorly Made Product We purchased this set, within 3 days a pole broke, a racket broke and all the shuttle cocks fell apart. We returned/exchanged it and the next set we had a racket break (head comes loose) COMPLETE JUNK and Way too much money...however we are still having fun with it. June 9, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Easy to put up. Purchased approx a month ago. Net was very easy to put up and is sturdy. However, one racket has started to unravel and the birdies are falling apart. I am planning to hot glue the thread that has loosened on the racket. Not concerned about the birdies so much. We are having fun with this product. June 3, 2015
